Cured? It has not been cured, the outbreak is dealt with yes, but the virus is not cured.And Thrax is deadlier than the Ebola virus because he is virtually undetectable; and when he does strike, it's probably too late to save the infected person i.e. low recoveryy chance.

I only recently found out about this movie (thanks NC), and I have to say, Thrax seems to be WAY too good of a villain for this. I mean, this movie has live action gross-out comedy, anda buddy-buddy cop duo shtick. What you'd expect out of an average children's flick. But then we have a DEADLY disease who SLICES, STRANGLES and BOILS cells to death on-screen, keeps a DNA chain as a souvenir of all the people he KILLS, which includes SMALL CHILDREN AND THE ELDERLY, and has a goal to pull off a murderous speed-run on a single father in order to become a recognized lethal force. Talk about a freaking tonal disconnect.
