Anyone who thinks kenblock could keep up with the v8 on that track is
retarded. You can hear hes NOT on the trottle at all as block tries to stay
with him on turns. The v8 slowed down to make it look good. The supercar
would KILL blocks car with an extra 400HP over block lol

+mark Frasier yeah but you cant really compare the two in any kind of race they are two completely different cars, im sure Blocks would win on a stage rally cuz thats what its designed for just like the super car is designed for tarmac

It won't have that much more power the v8 would have about 650 bhp and the fiesta would have 550 cos it a rally cross car but on that track the v8 would win but I think the DTM cars on track are faster.

+oldfrendWell you have to account for high speed stability too. A short wheelbased car is tricky in high G high speed bends.

+bingoberra18 cmon dude, anybody that knows anything about racing could say with near certainty that the fiesta's significant advantage in power/weight and grip with its all-wheel drive means it would smoke the falcon in all but the straightest longest courses. the only thing that might hold it back would be its gearing. give them both the same gearbox and the fiesta wins blindfolded.

Niether of us knows what would happen if they changed the suspencion to a more track focused one and other bits to make it competitive. What i want to get to is that the Fiesta wouldnt "mop the floor with the Falcon if he stopped drifting"

+bingoberra18 The Fiesta's suspension is also likely to be highly adjustable and could easily be tailored for track use.

It has superior traction from start but its suspension geometry isnt built for taking long sweeping bends into tighter sections at 200+km/h etc. Its built to be agile in lower speeds with bumps and bad traction.

+bingoberra18 Even still, the Falcon is subject to a very restrictive rule set, the Fiesta isn't. The Fiesta has a much better power to weight ratio and vastly superior traction.

Haha not likely, the Falcon is purposebuilt for this, the Fiesta isnt. He simply went around on a sunday drive while the Fiesta drifted.
