Still feel that way? 2015 was the warmest on record and it shows. Temps never dropped below freezing all December. I live in Canada and I can confirm that snow is incredibly more inconsistent compared to the past

Thanks for your amazing videos, David. Glad Ben recommended you. Quick comment from my end, been living in the UAE for 10yrs now. Hail events were very much contained to one area in Abu Dhabi, probably also exaggerated by ppl on social media, trying to get likes. Yes, we had 2 days of rain and heavy winds, but this is not unusual. We get these every winter, in fact 2008 we had 2-3 weeks of rain with flooding much worse than this week and lower temps in the single digits too. //goo.gl/fGtR0Q. Snow followed in 2009. //goo.gl/VFNkh5 Also, average temp in Jan is 24C. The NCMS is experimenting heavily with cloud seeding, we had odd clouds and 5min freak rain in August in 2014. If you want more info from the ground here at any point, just let me know. S0's are here too. ;)

+Richard Wagner Hi Richard, thank you for the links.Interesting how in 2009 it was the first time that mountain in UAE was ever covered in hail and snow. Shows the pattern is continuing. First time ever in 2009, now again.What are the chances of two such storms coming within years of each other? Seems to be trending.

Fascinating stuff! In hindsight, I shouldn't have built my roof with a 2" per foot drop... Fine for rain but a significant snowfall could be a problem. I gotta come up with a cheap fix.

Yeah that'll work... I can't even finish a beer! Quit drinking alcohol 30 years ago, no tolerance left... Roof yes, JD?... Probably not a good idea for Jonny. Think I'll stick with the greenhouse idea.

Grew up in Connecticut. No stranger to rooftop fun in the snow although at 54 riding sleds off the roof or jumping into drifts now requires stupidity lol!I guess there's no cheap fix... I'm thinking maybe a plexiglass greenhouse 2nd floor, saltbox style?
