@specv858 Firstly, you should have your priority first, whether it is
economic or power. Both have similar horsepower, but 335 is equipped with
twin turbo, which can be tuned to gain more power. If you prioritize
economic, I believe IS 350 has better mpg. Lexus IS is a good-handling car;
can do sharp turn easily, good suspensions, and small turning radius. From
mod perspectives, both can be good choices, since many aftermarket stuffs
are going around. Personally, I like IS better than 335 sedan.
@khakimov You can get eibach lowering kit if you wanna lower your car. If
you wanna go lower than the standard eibach for IS350, you can get eibach
for IS250, with which you can go lower than eibach for IS350. If you wanna
get adjustable lowering kit you can look at Megan coilovers (it actually
can lower your car more than the eibach spring kits). For the wheels, you
have lots of options, and depend on your budget. This IS is using linea
corse which you can get for $1900 (If I'm not mistaken).
@specv858 Also, stock for stock the 335i will EASILY out handle a Lexus.
I've driven BMW's and you always feel like your much more control of the
car. It feels as if the car is gripping onto the road, whereas the IS350 is
more comfortable, softer and "floaty" definitely not as confident around
the corner. In a straight line however, both cars should be pretty even. I
hate to sound like im bashing lexus, don't get me wrong, I love my car but
if I had the choice I would have gone with a BMW.
@liubaole Both cars should have similar gas mileage. If I were given the
choice, I would easily pick the 335i over the is350. Understand that the
engine in the Isx50s have high compression ratios so they cannot be easily
tuned. The only mods you can do on these isx50s is exhaust, intake, sway
bars, and suspension... very basic mods. Anything else like turbos or
superchargers will not make much of a difference. I know because i've done
plenty of research and own an is350 as well.
@adidascal To say it rides better all comes down to preference so I can't
disagree with you there.. But too say the is350 handles better? C'mon
dude... I've driven both myself and the 335i can easily corner better than
the 350. Driving in a 335 feels MUCH more responsive. Gas mileage is the
same for both cars, my friend has the 335i so I know this as well.
Im about to sell my IS350 to pickup a 135i or 335i. But anyways i had the
LMS exhaust as well, im in socal. Recently sold it, but all i gotta say is
its one of the best exhausts for the IS350. True Dual. And the sound you
get out of it is beastly. Ill take this over HKS or F-sport. But not my
Wald exhaust that i currently have now :)
@Bigwhite572 You should be able to find the wheel around.. There are many
brands that produce similar model..These are Linea Corse, for more fancy
one you can look at iforged or work wheels. For the exhaust, it was
produced by LMS and it stopped making exhaust for lexus IS for a long time
so you should fine used one. THanks!
@InfuriatedKIDD hmm well, based on my perspective, the main difference in
the appearance is the tail light and a bit face-lift. In fact, the tail
light on this car was changed to LED so I like it better than 2010 IS 350.
If you're into modding the car, you can save money by getting 07 one,
otherwise you can get the new one.
@FTPENTERTAINMENTNJ In fact, I like this exhaust the best among other
exhaust. I have used Tanabe, sounds like whispering (better not to change
the exhaust), HKS hi-power (too fckin noisy inside the cabin). Do you have
any other options?? Honda's exhausts sound is nothing close to the LMS. =)
hey 1st things 1st nicve car bro. i have a problem, i drive a 08 bmw 328i
and thinkgin about getting a 335 coupe used or an is 350. Both around the
same price but i just dont know which one to get. How do you like your car?
how does it handle? THANKS!!!!
guyz am new with Lexus. this LMS exhaust, i've tried to google it couldn't
find a website for it or any online website to sell those i need help just
bought the IS350 2 days ago what does it stands for and where can i get one
?
@liubaole Oh and liubole, BEAUTIFUL is350... Thank God you didn't rice it
out with tacky ass rims and ridiculous looking body kits. It looks perfect
the way it is, simple and clean. Mind sharing the specs on the wheels?
I agree. Now I don't actually know where I can get the LMS anymore, I have
an email of someone down in LA but that's a bit far for this. Is there a
site online? I've looked but LMS's site doesn't even have them.
@khakimov There was a mistake with the wheel maker, so they gave spacers to
put in front and back. I don't remember the drop, but using eibach for IS
250 gave more drop than eibach for IS 350.
yea one question tho. i was thinkin about gettin the lexus 2010 is 350 n
stuff. but do u think the 07 and 2010 any different besides the yr? and in
ur opinion which one u think is best. thanx
Heyy iim iin LoVe WiTh YOuR CaR LOL OMG SooOO SEXY ,, My MouTh OpeNd As
Soon as ii Saw The PiCs ;) iim a Very BiG FaN OF The Lexus nd iim PLaninq
on Getting one iin about a year or 2 :)
@ispd123 I believe everybody has his or her own taste, but I think Tanabe
is too quiet. This car used Tanabe before LMS and based on my opinion, LMS
is much much better than Tanabe. :)
@khakimov Yes, I used the wheel spacers. I think you can get the springs at
any garage nearby. A little bit in the front. If it's fully loaded, the
rear also rubs.
What kind of HID Lights did you install on your lexus 350? I Love the ride
though and also is that the factory paint job or did you do a custom paint
job?
it's a LMS exhaust exhaust system. I heard they don't produce for Lexus IS
anymore. it was about $1500.
richboyccm's lexus is350 w/ magnaflow full exhaust system and fujita intake
my lexus is350 (thats me in the video with the black) my car has a magnaflow exhaust system and a fujita shortram intake all done by car couture and darkside ...
not much, honestly i have'nt dyno'd it, but from word of mouth full exhaust
systems on an is only add about 10-15 more hp, if i had to guess,
considering the car is 306 at the crank, and with my exhaust and intake its
in the high 200's for whp, i'd wanna say like 280+
