This guy is a fucking retard. Why were you in 5th gear on that part of the
track? Learn to use the paddle shifters and know what gear you're supposed
to be in. Learn to fucking drive! I would never let someone like that drive
my car, and it costs 1/6th of that Lambo.
how dare u motherfucker say that Clarkson was wrong about the car,u dont
know shit about cars and u drive like shit u fuckin faggot,Clarkson will
piss on u and ur family with hes knowledge about cars and hes driving
skill!derek ur a fuckin shit head
@HarryPotterShit1 i have never been in an M5 only seen them on Top Gear,
and down the street at the BMW new/used dealer....my brother owns a 745is
which massages you as you drive...lol..crazy!! The M5 is a monster
powerhouse from all appearances
You're an idiot, Clarkson knows a lot less about cars than many
enthusiasts, he's just entertaining. He doesn't even drive all that well.
Oh btw, clarkson WAS wrong about the gallardo at first, he ended up getting
one later on.
@A1Gify: you don't have to keep posting that chain letter. I killed that
kid myself because he owed me $2.38, cash. The chain letter on his pc was
just a coincidence. You can rest easy now. Unless you owe me money...
OMG!!!!! SOMEBODY put a dick in that bitch's mouth! And, PLEEEZ, fastlane

BMW R1200R Final Video
First Off, so this doesn't get taken down: Music is "Motorcycle Drive By" performed by Third Eye Blind. I do not own this music and I will make zero profit by using ...
mate, i watched your "old" Akrapovic clip time ago, and fell in love with
the bike... after lots and lots of thoughts, i finally bought a bike (my
FIRST bike), a '04 Rockster and i love her...to be honest i love
naked/sport bikes and dirtbikes, never thought a touring bike could be my
first bike but...now i cannot live without her...me and my gf made a couple
of trips around here (dolomites, mountains between italy and austria) and
don't need to say that travel with a bike is somethins special.
@BMWBiker2 - Thank you so much for watching and sharing! PLEASE! give it a
shot one day, pack the bike up and just GO. You don't have to do 600 miles
a day, or 300, or even 100. I'm so happy for you, and we have never even
met!! You are going to love your new bike! Ride as much as you can! My best
memories are from the worst days on my bike, rain, sleet, hail, cold...
Loved every minute of it :) I'm so excited for you! You will tour someday!
Though don't forget the heated jacket and gloves ;)
I bought my sons 850R to help him out from under the payment and fell in
love with it. Later he bought the 1100R and we toured quite a bit over
Colorado and points west. Your video evokes all those feelings I had with
this bike. I did an Iron Butt 1000 mile day, and too many 500 mile days to
count. Utah, Montana, Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming. I finally donated it
to a whitetail deer at 50 mph on Hywy 12 in Montana while on my way to
Banff. I miss it, and love it. It's OK to love a bike!
I am drooling over this bike and I was disappointed in the internet because
of the lack of good videos that exist of it and the influence owning and
riding one has on a person...I am a Photographer and videographer and I am
working on my M class license ...I have been looking at this model of bike
for ever and I hope to one day own one and make a nice riding video demoing
the bike that shows the passion that the rider has like with what you
did...thank you for the awesome vid!!!
@dnganga - This was my first bike, the only experience I had was a
Motorcycle Safety Foundation riders course, using a tiny Buell Blast.
Everyone I told me not to get such a large bike for my first one, however,
it is the only one that I "fit" on and really felt comfortable with. One
drawback though, it's very expensive! If you have the money, and can
control your wrist until you are comfortable with the power and torque, I'd
say go for it! Just take it easy at first.
@turismofreak - That picture was actually in MPH, I was just making a joke
and saying KM/HR haha. I would cruise on the freeway at around 120-140 kph,
with absolutely no problem. In fact the bike seemed to like 80mph/130kph
the best. Top speed on this bike is around 230-240kph, I never got it up
that fast though ;) If you are thinking about getting an R1200R, I'd go for
it. It will do a little bit of everything for ya. Loved mine, and can't
wait to get her replaced!
Greetings from Sweden! I have a bike like this too. I just love it. It can
turn on one cent and be steady as a rock with full package and wife on. Did
235 kph on autobahn with mrs and package. No problemo. I have just one
advice for you. Try to find as many courses you can find to learn and
handle the bike. I attend my self every year at least 3-5 times as an
instructor. You can never have to many lessons. I hope you will get well
soon and be back in the sadle.
@loris199 - Hey buddy! I really appreciate your concern! I'm looking at
nearly 100% recovery. My arms won't be quite the same ever again, small
things like reaching into my right rear pocket will always be a strain, but
I'll be back to flying my helicopter (I'm an EMS helicopter pilot) and
riding motorbikes soon. Just have to wait for warmer weather and my
paycheck to start finding its way back to my bank account! I can't believe
it has been nearly 7 months...
@dreadster0 - Thank you! I just got back to work today, so I can start
thinking about replacing my bike! The windscreen was an aftermarket unit
from Wunderlich America. It was the middle height of three choices if I
remember correctly. Take a look at the new 2011 R1200R, it now comes with
the twin-cam engine. Not much boost in hp or tq but should be more
efficient across the entire rpm range. I can't wait to get a down payment
in on one. Take care!
@TheMotoCraze - It has been almost a year now since my accident. Thanks for
watching and commenting. I am back 100%, if that even seems possible. I'm
waiting on insurance money right now (there isn't much), but I hope to get
back on a motorcycle by next month (March). I cannot wait. I've never been
so happy. Check back soon for a video of my new bike! Ride safe and have
fun buddy! And one more thing. Live life, and be happy!
If you do ride again, please consider a helmet in a color other than black.
White is good, or any primary color, or day-glow green/yellow if you are
serious about being seen. You have to give them something to pick out of
the urban environment, so stay away from black, silver, gray, etc. May not
have made any difference, but then again… very nice video, I'm considering
the R1200R right now.
@DonDuracell - Thank you for the comment! The second most important part is
that the local BMW dealer has a beautiful blue R1200R in the showroom.
Let's just say it has my name written all over it! I would love to ride in
Germany, in fact a European vacation is probably not too far in the future
for me. It will definitely include some riding! Have fun with your R1200R,
they are the best!
@uswg01 Hey, glad to hear everything's fine. Sure, I'll check out your new
vids. Hey, you're not telling what's your new bike yet? :) A friend of mine
had an accident last year, car driver "didn't see him", you know. He got
leg smashed, multiple surgeries etc... but he's riding again now, tho no
money from insurance sux here... Catch you later, when you upload next vid,
take care, buddy!
@trclewis911 - I'd choose a Speed Triple over the BMW for all out fun. The
BMW though is better, IMHO, for long distance trips. I've never ridden a
Triple but one of my co-workers had a gold one. Sounded amazing when he
rode her hard, which unfortunately was sort of a rare occurrence... I'm
buying soon, maybe even over winter to get a better deal (hopefully). Have
fun with the Triumph!
You are alive that's the most important part the bike is only metal and
bolts. Hope you find the same joy again on a bike. For me riding my R1200R
in Germany is better than meditation you live in the here and now and only
the next curve is important. Sometimes I wish that the laws in Germany
weren't not so tight. With the open Acrapovic exhaust the bike sounds even
better. Take care!
I made the open exhaust from parts from a local auto parts store. It was
very primitive, and to be honest, didn't sound good at all. The Akra was
very expensive, but it was a good compromise between the hoarse, raspy
sound of the open pipe and the dull noise from the stock muffler. I would
recommend the Akrapovic any day, it was very high quality and sounded
fantastic in person!
Hi, say ? How tall ere you ? I'm 6'2" and wonders about the windshield you
where using ? Genuine parts ? and how is the protection/buffeting.
(Thinkink of getting the bike) ... also , looks like at 85 kms/hr at 4600
rpm. could take you in the 150 zone,,, am -I right ? that sure would be a
good selling point cause those Canadian prairies are long at 120 kmh/hr.
(wink,wink)
@jaspervd1 - I love your R1200R buddy! I really wanted mirrors like that.
Had a terrible time finding anything here in the US. Rizoma, hmm going to
have to get a set for my next R1200R. I don't see any other bike giving me
they joy that I got from this one. Definitely will have another R1200R in
the future! Ride safe and enjoy that thing! Thanks for the comment!
@LacosTacosPacos - The R1200R is amazing, if you have the money definitely
get it! I have ridden a bit since the accident, mostly on a Honda 650 dirt
bike, trying to build up strength again. I did get a new helmet, same
model, but solid white this time! I'll take every advantage I can get the
second time around. Thanks for the advice, ride safe!
Hiya, good luck with your recovery, it'll be a slow process but stay
positive if you can, plan your future bike trips!!! I have a r1150gs and am
thinking of trading up to the r1200r, had a spin on one the other day and
loved it. Is your screen aftermarket or did it come with the bike? Go raibh
biseach ort go luath (Irish for Get Well Soon)
BMW S1000RR Review - Test Ride, Review and Verdict - GoPro HERO 3
//www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7aZ3RM0yrw Be sure to check out the Part 2 of this review. Part 2, click the link.
I remember Mark and I described ourselves similarly in our videos, as far
as riding style. Not fast and not slow. Casual but experienced riders. I
definitely appreciated his honest feedback too, and that's part of what
makes his bike-reviews so interesting. He's also very accepting of honest
feedback...even about his own bikes.
Hi Mark, I have seen your reviews, nice videos!, I have a question: Im
buying a bike, Im a motogp fan, wich one its faster between the kawi, the
suzu, the R1, the BMW and the Honda in liter bikes. Btw,I rather the sound
of an inline four-cylinder engine, what do you prefer? Thanks for sharing,
blessings
hey Mark, nice review bro!! I dont know which one is true because i have
never ridden them myself but several review that compare 1 liter bikes.
Most of them pick 2013 zx10r over others. however among european bikes
s1000rr have been chosen as the best though. can you give your personal
opinion on this
it's very nice to see a sportbike video with serious riders in it ! Leather
all the way, suits, gloves, boots ... the lot. Very cool. I'm sick of
morons doing 250+ ( sorry, we are kph in France :o) ) in t-shirts, jeans
and Nike air ... Great video. Keep having fun on the road
The BMW S1000RR is superior to the ZX10R in many ways. The S1000RR has
heated grips, a quick shifter, Brembo brakes, steel braided brake lines,
traction control, 3yr/36k mile warranty. Click on my channel to view my HP4
defeat a zx10r and zx14r in top speed runs!
I like the bmw much more looks are great look at the tail light !! The
front is nice and the side fairings aswell the only thing i don't like is
the exhaust. It needs a akrapovic the carbon one. In my opinion this is a
great bike great power great looks
mark what if you had to choose between s1000rr nd the ZX10R which would you
choose? and why? im looking into buyin either the s1000rr or the ZX10R nd I
want to hear your thoughts and opinion of the 2 bikes.
my uncle told me 10 minutes ago that he wants to sell his R1 and buy the
S1000RR then i check youtube and you upload the review to the bmw o.O do
you have cameras installed in my house? lol
The BMW 1000rr is a good racing bike but there's one important point: it's
just not good looking. Any Kawasaki is looking much better. Well, that's my
opinion.
"Stroker" means that he increased the displacement of the engine by replacing the crankshaft with one which moves the piston through a longer stroke (up and down more). Its a highly invasive procedure to the engine.
323i's were available with a "Dog-leg" gearbox, where reverse is where you'd expect first, and first is where you'd expect second, and so on. This was to make the most common motorsport shifts (2 to 3 and 3 to 2) faster.
