"Sucked balls" isn't saying much. I'm not saying the xD's are bad, but they don't sound as good as slash amps, bottom line. Heck, a lotta guys don't think the HD's measure up to the slash amps, me included. I'm sad JL threw in the towel on their A/B amps, they're aewsome. And all I'm sayin is ground it all back to the battery, and you wouldn't have any noise problems, period. Unbroken circuit :P

@soundmancaraudio Kickers are neither clean nor loud... 4 would be like not thinking the trash in your home is sufficient and going to the dump to fill your living room. Whooptie do, I'd go JL or DD now adays. If you're looking for a budget woofer, I would stick with either the JL w3 or Alpine Type S (not in the same price range, but equally great per dollar).

Can't believe you went out of your way to say a JL XD amp is "better" than an "old" class A/B slash series. Ok, I kmow you guys are trying to sell XD's and audisons (which up againast a 450/4v2 with full xover network is not worth the premium and comes across as too muted for me, not ballsy like the slashes)

I'd fux with the live stream. Like the security cam idea aswell if it had audio. I don't think it would effect amplified as people will probably tune in even more so they can be like "zomg i saw this shiz live. And that slide pussy was tight son!". Great show

@BeachFizzle not necessarily. it's more likely as simple as a nic in the winding. the major problem is how BMW runs charging wires through the car to the trunk. if the batt was next to the alt, issues like this wouldn't be an issue.

i got this odd engine noise also... with my kicker zx350.4 amp. i though its my deck... but i bought new car and new deck and im still getting same noise and i tried other amp, no noise... so i suppose its bad amp :s
