this guy has a good aprouch, but he's going for skaters that have only been
skating and being conditioned for about 2-3 years. after about the 5 year
maark, your legs are stronger and you dont need to have your front foot
back so far. i do A LOT of double flips, and my foot placement is
completely different. his dubs wouldn't be crooked if his foot wasn't back
so far.
@element5321 try to hold on something and flip it and land it and then
practice it that way and when you can flip it and land it will holding into
something try it in grass and remember never give up !!!! when i was first
learning them i've i would never land this it HAAARD but now i can land
them every time !! Glad if i helped u !!! :D
with bigger boards the only things is either adjusting the power of your
flick, or high of your jump. i suggest the high. when doing it, pop higher
on your kickflip, and just flick out as usual on regular kickflip. stay
above it and it will rotate twice, on its own. land it, and celebrate
anyone trying this trick. i learned this trick on a 7.5 size board. its
smaller, and easier to learn on a smaller board. once you land it. and
understand how to do it, then you can go back to whatever size you were
using before. i ride a 8.2 and, bang these bitches out all day!
the real secret is to get more pop and give your back foot as much hang
time as possible. practice with little speed and SLOWLY build more speed so
you learn how to catch them. the slower you learn, the cleaner you get them
and the bigger the gaps you can eventually clear.
hmm nice shoes, you do know your toes are showing right? ps word to the
wise: get a job then you can get real shoes 4 sk8n i'd say element tim tims
cause they look sweet n ride well, soz bout bagging ur shoes but they suck
this is happening because you aren't jumping high enough in the first
place. if you try and jump a little higher you will have a better chance of
pulling your foot up to put it back on the board. good luck.
Someone help ive gotten real close to double flips i flipped all the way
and the board doesnt rotate like a pop shuv but the board always lands
behind me and i land on my heels with my toes on the ground
@kxsteven4 not really much I can do but say practice and put your front
foot back farther if it isn't already back far... the trick is really hard
at first but you'll get them.
when i always do these i always land it but the board only dose 1 and 1/2
of a flip so i land it upside down!!! help i keep getting really pissed off
and keep chucking my board
i set even higher for a tre, thats where i would set up if my fat ass could
540 flip haha. just learning tres, i set up for varial and tre exactly the
same, except back foot
@LifeMaster80 i had the same problem, just try to jump forward with the
board so its not just you're front foot flicking it out, jump so both feet
land on top of the bolts.
DUDE, i literally landed this first try thanks to your trick tip. I'm
actually landing them a lot more often now. It used to take me a billion
tries to get it. YOUR A GOD!
when i do doubles, i slam down really hard and when it lands me in premo.
it hurts like a mofo... try not to land in premo, its like hitting your
funny bone in your foot.
first off why was his board so small...and second it looks like he has been
trying to land a double kickflip all day...i think its a bit early to be
making a tutorial bro
you do your doubles weird i do mine with my front foot right behind the
bolts its just the flick you got to get it right soo try them like that
they feel pretty awesome
thanks for the video, I think it will really help me out, because i was
almost getting it yesturday when I figured out how close to the tail the
front foot has to be.
My double flips are like shacklers my feet are rite behind the bolts and I
just flick really hard I cant do them that way the board goes under me like
a hardflip
ok first u need new shoes second u need new board 3 u look like a junkie
nigga imma put a video on how to do double kickflip with flip deck so hmu
wen i do it(:
What kind of trucks do you have on your board? They look so tall. Your
board looks so high off the ground.Does this make it easyer? Thanks for the
tips.
i tried em once and i got really close thanks to your trick tip ill keep
practicing 5*****

@TheMrpone777 Your problem is a common one. Everybody has this at one point
or another. Your problem is that you're flicking too much foward rather
than behined you or you're hitting the nose too much when you flick, or
both. After you get a good strong pop, raise your front foot as you would
normally Ollie, once you're front foot is raised up high, flick using ONLY
YOUR ANKLE! Using your whole leg to flick forces the board fowards. After
that, bring your feet up high then catch. Don't give up!!
@artman104- for that I had the same problem and what I found out what u
want to do is like instead of just having your foot on the tail, literally
put your foot back more on the tail, pretty much enough to were part of the
side of your foot is hanging off the back, the farther u put your foot back
on the tail the higher your gonna go even if ur foot has to hang (to some
extent) off the board, also for your front foot bring it back more, hope
this helps!!:)
@bob3063v Ive been practicing literally non stop, for the past few weeks, i
finally got to where i can start landing it, its not a good landing, but i
can land it, now the only problem, is it goes just a little varial, about a
45-90 degrees, and a little outward infront of me, as i practice, it gets
better. Hopefully if i keep going, i will get it good
I had a board from like 5 years ago and I just started to actually skate.
My board says status skateboards on the bottom. I don't know if its a
terrible board or if I'm terrible. Anyway what happens to me is I can
sometimes get the rotation but when i do, the board is kicked out a foot in
front of me. I don't know what to do.
i need help, my kickflip, is all muffed up, whenever i do it, it will
either go into a varial kickflip, EVERYTIME, or if it dosnt go varial, then
i will only land one footed, and that foot is always my front foot, no one
seems to explain why it goes varial, but it would help so much if i figured
out, why it goes varial
@bruins3331 well just try it over and over again with different techniques.
i eventually made it spin perfectly. mb u kick it to much to the front.
remember its a flick to the side with a bit to the front. 2nd remember to
use the front part of your shoe only.u might wanna bend ur foot to a
straight line.
@artman104 as he said you gotta ollie at least 6 inches. It might help that
you suck your knees up the chest. I barely ollied half an inch when i
started but with using that AND setting a different amount of strength in
the foot helped me to ollie 7.5 inches. Hope this helps, if not ... fuck it
:-)
Short problem description: When I do a kickflip I scoop the board with my
back foot which makes it turn 90 degrees away from me so I can't land it. I
have learned varial kickflips and that's the reason I have the scoop and I
want to be able to do both, please help!
@JustLoveSkate i would get a death wish if i was you i got one its the best
it lsats me over 2 months :o now its winter in canada no more skating til
spring ;( but anyway if you dont have a board yet you should get death wish
@GAMERGUY11111 You have to ollie then FLICK it you don't flick and you push
then it'll go infront, the only thing that I can think you are doing is
your pushing your back foot like a shove it then you do a kick flip.
hey, i have been trying to kick flip for over a year now. i get the full
rotation get my back foot on only and my body turned like 90 degrees if you
or any one can help message me back. thanks
uhh..ok i've been trying to get the kickflip for like...two months ..and i
almost have it..just i can't bring my front foot back in time to get it on
the board :P..could you please help me
my back foot will land on the board but my flicking foot isnt landing on it
my back foot is like on the ba k tail when i land and my flick foot isnt in
front of the board its in the inside
Dude i fuckin suck lol... When i pop the board and flick it goes round for
a 360 shuvit.. I know im not doin it write but when i try to pop and flip i
cant even get it off the ground
@TheSavage493 can you help me? when i just do an kickflip, my board wil
twist like a varial kickflip. if i focus myself on a kickflip, it wil
succeed ( sometimes :( ) bart ( dutch )
what about the problem of when you are flicking your foot out and the board
just flies forward? would that mean that im not flicking it toff the side
far enough?
why is my board going flying forward if im sliding up the board and of the
side? PLEASE Help!!!! its not my Ollie because i can Ollie really
good!!PLEASE HELP!!
no lol anyone can make a decent trick tip as long as they understand how
the tricks work. you dont have 2 be able to do every trick you teach. i
mean i told ppl what they were doing wrong with tre flips n how to do them
better b4 i could do them.
to let you guys know i am going to repost this vid as soon as the snow
clears up. because i look really bad with those backside flips and would
like to prove that i own them lol. so keep watch!!
yur flick is good but still got to practice back 180.. if not yur not
continue rolling fakie, you will just stay there where you landed it...but
creeds..your exlplanation was good :)
Lol u varial like i double kick =] and thnx for the tip, oh and dont get
darkstars, mine broke in 25 days, and its not that im a bad sk8r, they just
suck =)
I aint paying for words and a few clips that you can find on youtube if you
actually look and truly if you need these I feel bad because in the
beginning no one had help they did it on there own goto a skatepark and
find some skaters wholl show you in person. I mean Im not saying his suck
or anything but its wrong to sell trick tips its a bunch of bullshit that
isnt worth more than two cents after the days over. What do you do with the
disc after you learned the tricks think about that.
This a bunch of bullshit designed for you to lose money its like his own
personal sponsorship understand? Just go skate kids don't buy his bullshit
the local kids at the park learn from the passion they show not the
ignorance he portrays its bad enough we pay so much for skateboards but
then this? Like anyone besides a feeble minded child would fall for this.
wanna manual better? GO PRACTICE!
its only like 7 dollars. i havent bought it but it seems like it would help
cause these trick tips really help. like i couldnt fs flip for shit cause i
didnt learn them when i was starting so theyre really hard but im starting
to get them now. but i know what u mean about having someone teach u in
real life. its alot easier to learn that way.
aron i just want to know what bearings are good, durable, and not to
expensive because i have reds (china) their good but i dont do tricks
because i suck but you inspired me and now i want to learn but i heard that
chinas aren't durable so in the longrun should i buy new bearings and if so
what type? thanks
I just bought this video and it totally changed my skateboarding life. I
was pushing mongo and hurricaning my way to embarrassment at the local
skatepark, but with Aaron's help i am making my first sponsor me video! I
highly recommend this video to anyone who is serious about becoming a
pro-skater!
Dude, you truly are awesome ! Thanks to you I really got into skating
because you showed me it wasn't as difficult as I tought it would be. Now
my best friend (he already was skating a bit) and I started skating and
practicing togheter. Thanks Aaron ! And now i'm going to skate :p
I have a little problem with skating... When I push my board i put my right
foot forward.. but when i do an ollie or kickflip i always have to put my
right foot on the back so i can kick with it.. I tried learning how to push
with left but it just doesn't feel comfortable :/
Yeah it's just a little confusing how in nollie a 360 flip, is really a 360
frontside shove it with a kickflip, because it feels like your just
flipping it backside, but yeah he called the shove its the wrong thing
I'm stuck at manual fs 180 out. I just can't get the rotation at all... any
tips? (besides 'go practice'. That's all i have been doing for the last
week). Thanks for the awesome vid though Aaron!
you dont get paid until you hit a million views and you only get paid off
the ads. soooooooo dont try to take away from him! keep doing what your
doing other people appreciate what your doing.
Hey aaron loved this video. I was wondering if you would ever do a regular
no comply video without the 180. I havent seen too many on youtube that are
as helpful as your vids. Thanks!
to get skateboarding made simple on your iphone you just have to drag it
into itunes after your download on the computer. then just sync it to your
iphone or idevice
ye in nose manuals i have trouble poping out watch my latest video of this
week, and the first line i have my nose manual could u just tell me quick
tips ?
