What a powerful tribute to the "Race for Hope" and to David Cook's amazing leadership in the effort to raise funds for research to find a cure for brain cancer. For those of us that have lost a friend or family member to brain cancer or know someone who is currently fighting to survive, this effort means more than words can express. David's Team has raised close to half a million dollars for this cause duing the past three years. "We Believe"! Thanks so much for this amazing, creative Video!

Sadly, since posting this video, it has come to my attention that one of the survivors featured in it, Kayla Wenger (seen @2:48) passed away on March 8, 2012. I would like to offer my deepest & sincere condolences to her family. I am so very sorry for their loss. Please take a moment to keep Kayla's family in your thoughts during this difficult time.

This video tribute is amazing. I have been thinking the same thing about the lyrics to "We Believe". Even though he wrote it after being inspired by his Idol Gives Back visit to Ethiopia...it relates so well to the race to find cancer cure. And your video says so much about the kind of person that David Cook is--both the man & his music. Video is so touching and inspirational...brought tears to my eyes!! Thank you.

Such an inspirational vid. This song always makes me think of RFH. It was that one line about hitting a wall & 'stumble at the finish line' & we'll start again. First time I heard it, I immediately thought of Adam. LOVE the song, LOVE the singer too, He's just such a special guy

Beautiful video tribute to Race for Hope! And yes, I agree; first time I heard 'We Believe' I thought 'RFH theme song!' I feel so fortunate to live in the nation's capital and to be able to participate in the RFH for the 4th year! But whether an actual runner, a volunteer or a virtual runner, we're all on the same team because "We Believe!!"

I am showing my age here...but....does anyone remember when Madonna had a contest for fans to make a video for her son True Blue?? The reason I ask this, is becuase this video reminds me of that. A fan made this video and it is so incredible that I think it should be the official video for this song. Good job!!

PERFECT song for David. Great idea for the vid AND he SHOULD be up on sides of buildings & marquees, billboards, ANYWHERE & EVERYWHERE, so we can see him ALL THE TIME. Dave nice-looking job on your Italian inspired spaghetti recipe. The key of course is the tomato sauce my question for you is are the carrots used to sweeten the tomato sauce are they serve another purpose?I've heard of others that use carrots in their tomato sauce for pasta I've never tried that you think it adds quite a bit to the overall recipe?

Hi. Great to hear from you. As for the carrots, I find that they balance off the acidity of the tomatoes as well as give it some extra body and texture. I find it really gives a nice balance to the sauce. Thanks for the comment and compliment.
