"Do participants die for the sake of continuing the sport"? Some racehorses do die, yes, but I'm not how that has anything to do with the sake of continuing the sport. If you saw the owners of the horse that died in last year's Melbourne Cup, they were distraught. How is that situation any different to what happened in cricket last November? That wasn't the first death that has occurred in a cricket match and you can bet your life it won't be the last. But you're not protesting the inclusion of Steve Waugh's century in this video. You would struggle to find me a type of animal that is, in general, treated better by its owners than racehorses. They are treated like kings as far as treating an animal goes. Animal abuse? What a stupid, ignorant statement. Grow up.

+Henry 52 In no other event depicted in this video do the participants die in the thousands for the sake of continuing the sport. Might as well throw dogfighting in there if "humans enjoy watching it" is the only criteria for a bloody violent spectacle to be considered a sport. Nonhuman animals do not exist for human pleasures.
