Back in the day, growing up I thought KISS was the greatest band ever!!! I was a member of KISS Army, I had all of their albums, up to KISS Alive II, I had posters, t-shirts, etc... However today they remind me of one of those old sad heavyweight boxers who should've retired years ago but instead stuck around too long and got beat up over and over in the process. Gene and Paul sound terrible, especially Paul. While Stanley has never been known for great vocals, at least he tried and with the help of studio enhancements his voice was bearable (even on the live albums). However now he simply yells and screams, which sounds like complete and utter crap. The musicianship of Singer and Thayer is the only thing saving this version of KISS from sounding like some bad bar band playing in a dive off of I-80 in Reno, NV... but knowing that it's Singer and Thayer dressed up as Criss and Frehley only adds to the ridiculousness that has become KISS. I wouldn't waste a dime of my money going to watch two washed up has-beens and two imposters. The time has come for KISS to once and for all, ride off into the sunset and let their past albums be their legacy, as opposed to what I just saw on this clip... sticking around too long and getting beat up in the process.
