+kin2naruto You realize, it doesn't matter if they exist or not. A lot of "sound-dampening" headphones are called "Soundproof" by most people. Plus Sound-dampening don't sound as cool as Soundproof headphones. And some of them would, depending on which ones you buy, some of them could have enough resistance against the burglar alarms or whatever alarm that is there, to make it not as annoyingly loud.

"Soundproof" headphones don't exist.  You can get sound-damping headphones with noise cancellation AND earplugs that do a reasonable job of cutting out everyday sounds.  But not even that would work against burglar alarms.  They are just too loud.

My neighbor paid the police to shut up for the fact that they beat their kids. Murderers, rapists, drug dealers, they all pay a "protection tax" to the police, to ignore their criminal activities, and sometimes the police even guards them or escorts them, in exchange for the "tax". This is the real world we live in.
