Okay, lets set this straight. You cannot make a team, that was founded in the 90s look like a original six team. Never. And whats classic for the leafs and wings are different because they were founded many many years earlier than bolts. What should be considered classic for wings shouldnt be considered classic for lightings and vice versa. Nothing is more classic than the original, and the original in this case is the black lightnings jerseys.

I don't like them. Honestly, I don't favor the one they have now compared to the original, but I'd rather see them keep the current one than go to this one. All-in-all, I think the original logo was the best. They won they Stanley Cup with the original and I loved seeing that logo on center ice when they did it. 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it'. Hands down...

maybe the panthers and the thrashers never deserved a team, however the lightning are stanley cup champions and sell out our stadium almost every night, just like any other team we have our die hard fans and we have our bandwagoners during the playoffs, its 85 degrees out almost all year and im an ice hockey player myself. your ignorance is insulting.

Thank GOD for this change! I don't know about the rest of y'all, but I HATE the Lightning's current jersey. I hate the design, I hate the logo, and I especially hate those fucking numbers on the front of the jersey! It just looks stupid! Maybe this new jersey looks a little like the Leafs, but I don't care. Any change for this team is fine for me.

@iLuvBarRefaeli I don't see the resemblance to the Red Wings jersey at all. This is a straight up Maple Leafs rip-off and I would be ashamed to be a Lightning fan right now. Is hockey so unpopular in Florida that Yzerman needs to mimic the most lucrative hockey franchise in order to attract more fans/customers?? Pathetic.

although the original home jersey is the nicest, (even a little outdated) i really like the new jersey, if we want to be a consistent cup contender we gotta start looking less like the dallas stars and the san jose sharks and more like the red wings and rangers. traditional, classic, thats how ya do it.

i like the logo, though maybe only as an alternate. The jerseys just look stupid. The ones they have now are way better. Theyre too plain. Maybe Toronto could get away with using them, but not tampa. The styles too old

It is better them now. Two varioants- or restore first unifrms of 93 or allow new varioants. It is more simple in old hockey traditions. And kick off third one with bolts

Haaate these new blue and white uniforms. The black and white with blue accents was perfect. Now they look terrible. Change it back!

the new uniform is so much worse the old one had more white and a much better bolt, this one is plain, tight and gay. by the way the lightning came in last place with these jerseys, might i add winning the cup with the old ones which were badass, enough said

I like the new look with more black in the jerseys. As for the logo, anything is better than that horribly dated brush script "Tampa Bay", But this font is not much better. I really think they could of dropped the type all together.

I like the new jerseys and the old ones were pretty cool but I also like the third jersey with BOLTS across the front. It was cool also the 2 of my favorite teams got new logos before 07-08 the lightning and the capitals.

we need a new uniform. add the words LIGHTNING back to the logo, keep the new bolt, and use a jersey style like vancouver. im a huge lightning fan and i like the jersey but i dont like it as much as i want to

This isn't what we'll get everytime unfortunately. This was Giroux, Voracek, Stamkos, Hedman, and the Triplets. That's a star studded cast. Nonetheless, 3v3 is exciting as fuck, way better than shootout.

+Gabriel Coons Wayne was not physically gifted enough to be very good at 3on3 OT. He was much better at 4v4, which relies not on speed but vision.
