Alright I have a V8. Nice powerful engine. Let's add more power, a
supercharger sounds good.
Wow, this thing has a lot of power now! Actually, I think I need more
power. I'll install an NO2
system which needs to be set up perfectly in order to not encounter any
flaws. Oh crap my car
could have just caught fire. Anyway, if it was me, I'd stick to boost.
+Samuel Guerrero You will not hear it in every muscle car. As stated below, it is the supercharger. Look up videos of Cobras with bolt ons and you will hear some loud ass supercharger whine. Personally I didn't use to like it but over the years my love for Cobra grew and I came to love that noise.
+REDBILLY HILLNECK Did you hear that Ford was working on making heated tailgates? It's so your hands don't get cold when you're pushing it home in the winter!

oh man i hate to see that happen, especially to what is obviously a very
brand new car (it looks like)... great to hear he was ok though, and back
racing quickly! oh btw, that is one bad'ass car, i wish my car had problems
hooking up like that! ha
That was a beast ass cobalt. Rear whrel conversion? My family used to have
a 08 SS. It w as a rag. Couldbt keep a clutch in it, 3 during our ownership
a front axle tranny and 4 sets of front 2 back
Today was the 4 year mark that I bought this Cobalt brand new. I have made some fixes to it and more yet to come. The car now has 105000 miles on it. Note: my ...
The clutches don't last too long on these. The problem was actually the
flywheel. When the transmission got replaced I replaced the clutch with it.
It is believed that too much meat was taken off the flywheel and was
overheating; there were a lot of glazing that caused excessive slipping.
The clutch disc had decent meat on it, but not enough to put back in. The
clutches don't last too long on these unfortunately. They are a hit and
miss game. MY current clutch is good and strong with no problems
Well, your friend is very lucky. That right there shows what killed the
Cobalt; their inconsistencies. Some like your friend's, will go on & on no
problems, then you got Cobalt's like mine where I did not even own the car
two weeks and I already found myself walking cause the dealer needed the
car for a long period of time and they could not get me a rental. I was too
young and stupid at the time and I should have asked for my money back
right then and there.
