These were lucky guests! I never got used to French oysters and preferred them in the USA. However, I sure do eat one and then let everyone else have them, ha ha! The mignonette with shallot never worked for me, either. But she's really thought up some fun additions! I tell you, when you can only have a bite of chocolate or some other thing and then you leave it be, the others are so pleased! More for them!

Big no no, vinegar in a metal bowl. Greetings from Paris. French oysters don't taste right to me and are too rich, so I just enjoy one and let the others have the rest and they like that, ha ha! Rachel is usually spot on and brings an immigrant's enthusiasm to France!
