2:30 I've heard it all! sandbags causing sand pollution? after a huge flood can you separate bagged sand from sand from the flood?? by the way, do buy our plastic sheet over a frame for 50 times the cost of sandbags.

pensei que essas coisas só acontecia no brasil. o pessoal ficou impressionando com essa quantidade de água, na ultima chuva forte, passei aqui em recife em um alagamento com a bros que chegou acima da caixa de marcha. chegou a ponto de entrar água na bota que eu estava usando, mas depois disso, aprendi uma coisa, nunca mas faço isso podia ter acontecido coisa pior.

Wow,a burst water-main story where residents AREN'T foaming at the mouth & cursing Thames Water or shaking their fists at the camera,lol.Water companies,particularly in cities like London are almost fighting against the odds with the continuous work to replace the worn out Victorian sewers.That said,they DO rake in millions in profits so it's understandable when local residents are hacked off.

Why does the fact that many of the Hydrological Researchers undertaking important work in climate change effect are young "alarm" the Professor? She never did expand on that, but otherwise gave a very interesting talk.
