This is a light and fluffy dish that consists of two of my favorite ingredients: cucumber and eggs. The taste is fresh and the two different flavors compliment each ...
@LittleModig chinese people done usually dont use olive oil (but i use it
for everyting) but usually asians use such oil as peanut, canola, corn oil,
soy bean oil. THe japanese use Rice bran oil. it all depends on ur taste
and buget but just keep in mind majoiry of the times asians use neutral
flavored oils. I generaly use olive oil for everything (tho it dose change
the taste of food slightly) but vege oil is Ok too ^^
@jaiey Are you kidding me?!? This I use to eat these at least 4 times a
week for lunch and dinner. But to be serious for a moment, this dish like
most Chinese food can be eaten any time of the day depending on how you
intake your food groups throughout the day.
Every time I watch a Chinese cooking video, I have the urge to cook using
chopsticks. I can barely function in the kitchen with spoons and spatulas,
but sometimes, I want to use sticks.
You made the fried egg with cucumber perfectly, I am excited to try your
delicious dishes they are simply lovely. Thank you so much for sharing your
recipes with us.

My Secret Fish Bar | DJ BBQ in Portugal
Come with me and I'll show you my secret fish bar in Lagos, Portugal that even Trip Advisor can't find. This is the ONLY way to BBQ sardines. If you want to ...
+DJ BBQ haven't been there yet,, heading out on the 18th... Looking to film some great places for my LittlePortugal.tv channel..would love to take you out to my hometown aveiro for some serious steak oneday
Its fantastic, been there a cople of times. 2 problems,in the summer is
crowded and is hard to get table.and is a little expensive. In Lagos already
exists alternatives more cheaper and also fantastic. And DONT EVER eat
sardines with knife and fork, its a kind of heresy. You eat them with your
fingers and put it in a slice of bread,so the juices(fantastic, delicious)
of the sardine go to the bread. One of the best things in Summer is
sardines. The best ones, arent the bigger ones, are the smaller ones. And to
drink,is red wine,or sangria. I usually go to Joes at 90´s too,about 97,
98. Dj was Cintra, and security was the big Freitas. Lots of booze and girls
in that time,LOL
Zanzibar...lovely Miss Lucinda... Fortunately,i can also afford the prices of Escondidinho. I´m just saying that, because i know the real reasonable price of a sardine meal. Keep up the good work, Your book is translate in portuguese??
I agree with the sardines and bread. I also like Carapau with the pao. I use to party at Joe's Freitas and Cintra are good men. I DJ'd and bartended at Route 66 and was doorman of Zanzibar for 3 summers. Love Lagos. As for Beach Bar. I think it's the right price. That place has to make all it's coin in the summer months to get it through the year. Of course Lagos might have more cheaper places but it's got year long trade and can afford to charge those prices. Blue door, Escondidinho and the rest. All great local joints.
Love this, fresh fish straight on the grill!
+DJ BBQ have you ever been to a more northerly Portuguese town called
Peniche - A big surfer place and loads of restaurants doing fish just like
this - I was amazed when I went there, would love to go back
hey try to eat the sardines in a slice of good portuguese bread without the
fork and knife just with your hands and fingers... the trick is that all
the sardine juice will go to the bread... after you eat all the sardines
you want or can just put the bread in the grill to toast it... btw this is
a trick from the best fish city in Portugal that is SETÚBAL the land of
CHOCO FRITO (fried cuttlefish) better than escondidinho or the entire
Algarve ;) in the end to take out the smell of the sardines just wash your
hands with a lemon
I love eating Carapao on a slice of bread. Probably my fav.
