+Youri Carma Loved reading this :) So in summary for the 04/08 models do not hold brake and gas at same time as you will burn the clutch! Instead disable ESP, activate sport mode, and then push full throttle, it will rev to 5000 rpm and only then the clutch will be released and you will be launched into heaven ;)
+Youri Carma You can't drive that fast here in the Netherlands even with a Lambo, at least not faster than 100-120 km/h. Unless you rent time at Zandvoort. Or you could try to outrun the police but with a plate like NXT they'll catch you eventually. Better go to Germany they don't have a speed limit there on the autobahns. :P
+Marc De MeselThe technical modifications made to the Gallardo Spyder and Gallardo SE also apply to the Gallardo Model Year 2006. The Gallardo Spyder, Gallardo SE and Gallardo MY 06 all fully comply with EURO 4 homologation standards. These new performance levels are shown impressively on a car equipped with e-gear and a feature called “thrust mode”. This feature automatically revs the car to 5,000 rpm then drops the clutch engaging all four wheels in a controlled burnout to ensure that the car performs maximum acceleration.Sources://www.seriouswheels.com/cars/top-2006-Lamborghini-Gallardo-Spyder.htm//www.gizmag.com/go/4671/https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lamborghini_Gallardo
+Marc De Mesel To be more specific FROM: 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo Coupe //www.edmunds.com/lamborghini/gallardo/2006/road-test/
"Getting that 0-60 time required a combination of technical aptitude and fancy footwork. The technical side comes via turning off the electronic stability program (ESP) and putting the car's transmission into its "Sport" setting. At this point the Gallardo is in "Thrust Mode" (Lambo's official term), meaning all that's left is to floor it and go. Doing so causes the V10 to shriek toward its 8,000-rpm redline before the e.gear system drops the clutch and unleashes 376 lb-ft through the Gallardo's all-wheel-drive system. While the engineer in us cringed at the concept of sending that kind of power through the Gallardo's drivetrain, the reality is the car seems quite capable of withstanding this type of abuse. For one thing, turning off ESP allows the V10 to direct the majority of its power to the rear wheels. This results in more wheelspin than we would have expected from an AWD vehicle, but it also means all that power has an outlet — one that doesn't involve shredding driveshafts or shearing clutch plates. This is where the fancy-footwork element comes into play, as it required a prudent balancing act between wheelspin and forward motion to get that 4.1-second 0-to-60 time. And somewhere in the midst of all this you have to blip the right steering-wheel paddle before the tachometer hits 8,000 rpm. Keep the throttle pinned through 3rd gear and you'll clear the quarter-mile in 12.1 seconds at 117 mph.
+Marc De MeselTurning off the electronic stability program (ESP) and putting the car's transmission into its "Sport" setting puts the Gallardo in "Thrust Mode" (Lambo's official term) which allows the V10 to direct the majority of its power to the rear wheels with wheelspin. If my info is correct the 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder with 10-cylinder 4961 cc propulsion unit which develops 520 hp (382 kW) at 8,000 rpm which reaches a top speed of 314 km/h with the roof up and 307 km/h with the roof down, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, with permanent AWD (All-wheel Drive/4X4) VT (viscous traction) system, and regulates itself without electronic control. Drive power is normally distributed between the front and rear axles in a ratio of 30:70 at constant speed. An independent control loop varies the drive force distribution in accordance with dynamic fluctuations, weight distribution and actual friction values, with Electronic stability control (ESC), also referred to as electronic stabilization program (ESP), traction control (TC), (ABS) with electronic brake force distribution, and automatic brake differential (ABD). A paddle-controlled sequential shift system called e-gear. The transmission has four modes: Normal, Sport, Automatic, and Snow. Automatic mode means you let the transmission computer pick the ratios; Sport mode sharpens shift times, and in Automatic mode also holds each gear an extra 500 rpm.Sources:https://www.bullstuff.com/lamborghini-parts-manual/gallardo-2006-gallardo-spyder-europe/711.03.00https://pictures.dealer.com/lamborghinilasvegas/2c64a2ce40463872007bd46a55007226.pdfhttps://www.edmunds.com/lamborghini/gallardo/2006/road-test///www.cars.com/lamborghini/gallardo/2006/standard-equipment///beta.motortrend.com/features/112_0606_exotic_sports_coupe_comparison///robbreport.com/Automobiles/Feature-Miami-Vice//www.topspeed.com/cars/lamborghini/2006-lamborghini-gallardo-spyder-ar1931.html//www.autogespot.nl/spots?licenseplate=NXT&brand=Lamborghini&type=Gallardo+Spyder//forum.prisonplanet.com/index.php?topic=61127.msg1556234#msg1556234
+Youri Carma Thanks :) Automatic roll bar is standard in all Gallardo Spyder models. I never heard of 'thrust' mode in a Gallardo. I think maybe you have it on Aventador?
+Marc De Mesel Does your E-gear transmission has the 'thrust' mode? This feature automatically revs the car to 5,000 rpm then drops the clutch engaging all four wheels in a controlled burnout to ensure that the car performs maximum acceleration. I like these black real Spydery wheels better the many other ones I've seen. I would be very interested to see a nice so-called full spec list (specifications list) of this awesome 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder. No automatic roll-bar protection?
+Youri Carma You asked more details about car via pm. It's a pre-LP as LP series starts only with 2009 newer model with different front and backlights as well as 560hp. Mine is like all Pre-LP Spyders (2006-2008) 520hp, 4 wheeldrive, esp, abs, front lift system (there is a rare balboni version that is 2 wheel drive). It has the optional e-gear paddle shift, branding package, rear camera as well as some mods done later such as LP Cordelia wheels, LP alcantara leather with yellow contrast stitching, carbon interior accents and aftermarket pioneer audio and navigation, extra receiver and extra subwoofer. In summary: it's fuckin awesome! ;) Check out these 2 vids I made for more info: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgCntnoibSM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mBlfQmctSp8
When the economy really starts to crash over the next couple years we'll
see bank failures, capital controls, nation wide bank closures and bail-ins
in country after country. When that starts happening bitcoin will be pushed
up dramatically and that will drive a lot of the alt coins up. That could
make Nxt a promising investment. For now though, my surplus income goes
into a 50/50 split between bitcoin and good old fashioned clinking metallic
silver.
+Vention1MGTOW I don't know. Silver seems very risky to me. Once you start using crypto you realise this is the future and our current money that consists of fiat & gold will lose their top position. Silver, having already lost most of it's money value, may end up in the same place as bronze, once money, then a precious metal, but today a mere commodity not worth the storage space. In addition, precious metal bull markets historically lasted only a decade after which 2 to 3 decades of bear market followed. There is a decent chance 2011 was the peak and bear market in pm's will continue for another 2 decades.I think it is also important to ask yourself: what investment will be the most useful for people in the future? I recommend Julian Simon his book: the ultimate resource 2 that explains how commodity prices in the long run always go down in purchasing power, shortages are only temporary, thanks to our ultimate resource: creative humans. Nice to see you back Vention and congrats with your great calls! :)
+Matthew Alistair >When would you move into NXT? lower prices?Nope. I'll keep my money in the most stable of all crypto currencies for the time being (that being bitcoin) and when the next big uptrend in price occurs I'll move about 5% over to NXT.In uptrends it often happens that the smaller currencies gain more by percentage than bitcoin, but you probably already know that. It's the same reason I buy silver right now rather than gold. During the 2008 recession silver gained 270% while gold only gained about 70%. But when the down trend arrived as the conventional economy had it's "recovery" silver fell dramatically more by percentage than gold. Same thing occurs with alt coins vs bitcoin. During uptrends it's not a bad idea to have some money in alts but during down trends you want to be 100% bitcoin, or completely out of bitcoin and holding cash.Seeing these trends I bought silver from 2006 to 2010, and sold in 2012 at 34/oz for the down payment on my house which I bought at the bottom of the market that year. It's gained 77k since then if you believe the tax man. I held onto my paid off rental condo and rented it to an aging overweight woman till this year. Then back in July I sold it for 40k more than I could have got in 2012 and dumped the money into the mortgage on the house. Now I owe 38% of the original sale price on the house. Now silver is back at the price I paid back in 2007 so I've been stocking up again and have replaced the silver I spent on my down payment. As we descend into this next recession the price will be pushed up again, and that should be enough to payoff my house. Then I'll be on easy street, with no rent or mortgage payment to deal with (LOL, and no wife to divorce it away from me). But if I'm right about bitcoin and if it continues to react the way it has in previous scary economic times, then it's quite likely that bitcoins (and to some degree, one or more of the alts) could be my ticket to an early retirement.
HE IS NOT WEALTHY!!! Holy shit, people are suggesting he should buy a
Huracan when he still lives with his fucking mommy. This dude can't even
afford a new Prius, yet he's buying a Gallardo. Live within your means
instead of trying to act like you have money. How about you buy a house
first instead of buying a car that will be worthless in five years.
P.S.
I hate the way he says Murcielago
