Tutorial in Photoshop CS5 where i take a blurry image and improve the pixel quality to give a higher resolution or "Sharpened" result. Link to image: ...
@35823582 1: Well yeah it should but the improvement wont be as good as
using a real image, you may have to adapt a few of the steps but the whole
High Pass/ and Adjustments should work on any image. 2: The Adjustments are
self explanatory Levels changes the image levels from RGB etc. But the
whole High Pass filter is different, the fliter can calculate any image and
find ALL edges in the image and it just redefines it more,it doesnt find
new pixels it just redifines the exisiting areas.
@VileVengeance depends, if you have the raw text which you have created
using the Text Tool and using a font of your choice if that font is blurry,
i would rasterise the layer so you can modify the text (double click on the
text layer and click ok) then use the steps i have showed in this tutorial.
if it works it works im not sure if it will but worth a go, on second
thoughts i may try this out latter on when im home may post video (if) does
work :)
thank you for this tutorial. it is actually really, really good. the only
thing i would suggest is bit more clear of where you went to do what. you
were thorough towards the middle and end, but at the beginning there were
moments when i had to rewind because i couldn't keep up! otherwise, good
job!
May I suggest easier : duplicate image ->high-pass at 7.0->overlay instead
of hard light and play with transparency. Hard light is rather efficient
for dark areas you want to "crisp", but for her face or light areas in
general, id' go with a simple overlay.
2 questions, 1st, can this be done with cartoon, and other art work, 2nd
question, whats happing here, does the soft were predict more complex
patterns to produce a sharper image?, how is sharper image achieved from
pixels that don’t exist?
@uchiha1184 Thanks :) yeah i did i was rather rusty doing this video,
havent done a Tutorial for a while and this was my first attempt for months
:) ill improve by the next time i do some more.
