no it's not. its the broken cat then a Y pipe to two tail pipes
Dodge Ram 1500 Cold Start (Straight Pipe)
me starting my dodge ram 1500 in the snow. it sat there for about 3 days or 4. its a 2001 V8 magnium, 5.2 liter BFG's 32'' mud terrine tires 2 inch lift kit dual ...
@HoNdAgUy940 lol there is none, idk its a 5.9 thats all i know.. its
fucking to much for me i love it to death for doing work and stuff but
like... 10 mpg is rediculous, im taking the tires off and getting all
terrain ones and then im saving for a chevy colorado or something smaller
@m0t0cr0ss17 yea man, i had about the same about 11 on the hwy, but i did
full tune up, and also fixed the intake plenum problem, and now i get like
12 or little over in the city, not sure about hwy yet, but i went 175 miles
on half a tank in the city with stop and go traffic.
yea mine gets bad gas milage also! but it actually wasnt to bad anymore
when i cut the cat off and added a cold air intake. also in my area, there
are lots of gas stations that give 89 octane with no ethanol in it! my
truck runs good on the 89!
@ContrerasKiller310 thanks, i wish it was a smaller engine its good for
pulling trailers but its horrible on gas mileage! and the paint is all
originial believe it or not, i just try to wash and wax it 1ce a month or
so. thanks alot man!
@snoop6604 wtf! lucky, i dk why im getting so bad. is yours chipped?? i
drive with it at 1.5 - 2.0 rpms. which isnt really on it to much..
sometimes i get up to 3 if im passing someone. but not much. idk what i can
do to get better mpg
my 360 starts every time no matter how cold it is in two revolutions love
that truck i would never sell it unless i won the lottery and i would buy
the 2013 dodge ram 2500 power wagon :)
leave the cat converters on and straight pipe it from there... depending
where you live it still wont pass the emissoins. i live out in a small town
so theres no emissions to pass.
@ryan0714 oh well yeh its the 5.9 my dad just told me it was the biggest
one they made in 01. but yeah i get about 10 in town and 12 on innerstate
mpg with the mud tires on there.
@m0t0cr0ss17 yea man, there is a 5.2L 318 small block magnum and a 5.9L 360
small block magnum. yea most dodges these years will only average anywhere
from 10-15mpg.
cause the 318 sits in the same truck but just has no ball what so ever so
the 318 is using more gas because it doesnt have the power so the block has
to work harder
@Bryant5493 thanks! i love it except for the dings and dents from use..and
the back bumper i backed into a tree one night :\ but ill get all of them
fixed sometime!
@MrMicas101 only if it were that way lol im still sitting on 10 mpg.. id
love to get a chevy colorado with some 32s on it and still be getting like
23 mpg
