I have an emergency light that plugs into my ciggarette lighter. You really need to get rechargeables. I need to tell you that there is a 3 way plug adaptor I got at Riccarton Mall on the second level at one of the chinese shops close to Dick Smiths and the cinema for $5 it looks exactly the same as this and works ok so far. It does not have a switch though. I have two DVR's plus GPS running off it.

+orac229 Ah yes Supercheap also had something I need, but they didn't have it at the blenheim road shop, so to get it I have to go to another shop in another location in Christchurch. It's an adhesive to glue rubber seals to metal. Actually that 3 way adaptor is one of the few things that are useful in that shop mainly extremely cheap typical 2 dollar shop stuff.

Repco also had a 3 way plug with switches for about $15 but when I went in to secretly take a picture of it they where sold out. I did put rechargeable batteries in the light, the little blue bin in the video is full of rechargeable batteries. I only have one product that can't use rechargeable batteries and that is a automatic can opener I brought from countdown, because rechargeable are only 1.2volt they don't have enough power and must use normal AA's which are 1.5volt. The chinese shop sound interesting , will have to go and have a look.

Yeah because it's way safer to pulse your brake instead of smoothly stopping..... not.
