It smell very fishy to me...remember the testing of the man jumping from a very high altitud to break the record of high altitud jump? Now .Days after .We have this storm? And...right before elections? Some people are even predicting a false flag...hum....i wonder if that man at high altitud jumping has something to do with the storm.just wondering.

Technically it's not a superstorm, it's just a category 4 or 5 hurricane that has been charged by cooler weather allowing it to become more powerful.

@stealthisalbum1 man i live in the middle of Canada Alberta in the plains and we have been getting super cell after super cell. the other day 4 tornado's touched down out here and floods have been reported all threw out the country. i wish i had video of the hail storm that dropped 2 and a half inches of hail in under 2 minutes. it was winter in july.

Speaking of weather radio...I needs one! Last Feb., I had to stay up SO late when a supercell (or a derecho, forgot which) came through my area. I was the only one up. When tornado warning were issued for my area, I ran downstair, waking up my parents. So we took cover in my parents' walk-in closet. My parents were glad that I woke them up.

Hey Troy, have you considered slapping together some quick birdhouses to put around your meadow? Now's the time to get them up and get those swallows in who eat all the mosquitoes and other bugs! I built two the other day with some scrap wood and my chop saw. Took me 15 minutes to build two and to put the up on a couple of fence posts. No need to get fancy. As for your tent, have you ever looked into what the "snow load" weight is for your region? that looks like a stress tear to me. And as for shelving, yes, wood will rot, however it will take YEARS to rot. Make some shelves so that you have a working space to move forward. Sometimes you need to make a few things last temporarily. Just shim the wobbly legs on the work bench for now, put bang together some sort of lumber rack and make it work for the temporary work shop.

Actually yes I am considering making some bird houses. Just slap them together. Paint them. Put them up. Would be good. And hopefully bat houses too.There was no "snow load" on the tent this year. I kept cleaning all the tents off as it snowed each time. Never really got too bad. This looks very much like a knife cut. I thought maybe branches but they would make a round hole and I cleared the trees from around the tent before I put it up. Anyway, doesnt matter. What is done is done.

We've had three days of snow, last night being the most. So at least 12 inches in 72 hours. It is melting fairly quick. In case people are wondering I am an hour or so west of Edmonton. I plan on building a Micro home next spring on solar in Saskatchewan. Fun fun.
