No offense, but you take your turns way too wide. Specially the one where
it looked like the older lady cut you off. She probably (as I did too),
thought you were turning into the right hand lane, when you ended up
turning into the middle lane. If you had an accident, that would have been
your fault.
+HaloMasterMind117 Whether your state has a law against changing lanes mid-intersection or not, the action of doing so is still often frowned upon. Intersections are often busy areas. Such areas are often considered unsafe to change lanes in. Even if your state does not have a particular law against changing lanes mid-intersection, it definitely has a law forbidding unsafe lane changes. If a witnessing police officer considers the mid-intersection lane change unsafe, you can be cited for it.Rule of thumb: Don’t change lanes in the middle of an intersection!
Doesn't matter if he takes the turn wide or not, it's illegal to change lanes in an intersection. It's NOT however illegal to make wide turns, otherwise there'd be no such things as big rigs.
The part at 3:15, where it looks like the van is cutting you off. You took a very wide turn. Most people when they turn left, they go in a curve, you went way out and then turned left. that's why the van was there when you finally turned into the lane, I've been driving on the west coast for 35 years, and I have never had that problem where people cut me off in a turn.
