Well he WAS in it kinda in my opinion…I believe he talks about it all the time in his rhymes. Like in the song "Let Nas Down" he was saying how he had to do songs he wouldn't normally do, Just to make a radio hit. He was talking about making money fucking bitch etc. in his 1st couple of singles on the 1st album. That's way Nas didn't like the shit. He felt like Cole wasn't being himself and spreading the wrong message. So on the 2nd album ITS WAY DARKER THIS TIME, as he say on the first song of the album which is called "Villuminati". I believe he was going through a darker time than. He starting to see the media for what it REALLY IS. Even tho I think he already knew what they was about. But you get a better understanding when you get a little fame. You start to see the fake love. Fake bitches.
