Great video. I use a slightly different tie method. First loop with both pieces thru, then twist, then loop a second time with only one piece, then 2 or 3 knots, depending on how tired I may be. Even more importantly, how can I get that song. I only listen to Christian and as I watched your video I all of a sudden occurred to me that I was hearing what sounded like prayer/praise to the Lord. I would to see how I could get it...great island beat with Praise to the Lord-love it! Thx 4 sharing!

Great video but, I must be doing something wrong cos my knots aren't staying in. I pulled hard and still it swells up n comes undone. How do u do it just so and how do u hide the knots (small/big).??

The size of the hair is also important. Try not to use too much hair so it will be able to hold the knots well.

Hi Elizabeth. The bulk hair is currently not available in Jamaica I do have to make my purchases online.

How long do you leave the rods in after dipping them? Do you leave them in to dry or immediately remove them after dipping?

Dip time: 15-20 seconds and they can be removed immediately.
