I didn't say it was a yamaha, i asked. You retard, You clearly don't know
what your talking about because the KTM LC2 engine is a yamaha engine tzr
and Dtr. Ktm use this engine in their earlier bikes. FACT ktm used Yammy
engines !!!! I have a KTM sting 125 in which i bought DT engine parts for.
the only thing differant for the whole engine is the name on the sides.....
I was planning to get the previous model because of the higher seat. Do you
think the lowered current one makes a difference in good or in bad? I'm
definitely after a tall seat bike in order to get out of the lower seat
fit-it-all-rider-type japanese naked bikes trend. I'm 1.85, how tall are
you? Happy riding dude.
I just tested this bike on Sat shit are you sure this is not a roller ha ha
it sounds like one but it has nice power and really agile plus the fuel
takage is incredible shit this thing can also take corners and do some
tricks easily, but the sound and the look was not my thing seems more like
a ladys bike. :)
Rodger that. KTM is awesome. Nice akra btw. The smaller dukes upto the new
390 are assembled in my country. A local motorcycle giant bought large
stakes in KTM when they had financial troubles couple of years ago. I wish
I could get an akra for my 200, its too expensive though. Ride safe and
long cheers (:
The North brother. I am travelling to Karnataka, Kerela and Tamil Nadu in
early December though. Bangalore, Kodaikanal to pick up family and then
onto the back waters of kottayam and ernakulam, moving on to Mangalore
coast side and then goa. Back North around new years. I know that was not
relevant cheers
Thanks for responding! Another question: I don't see much wind protection.
How do you deal with that? Or it doesn't matter. And have any issues come
up since you got the bike (premature wear, things breaking that shouldn't,
runs too hot in traffic, stalling issues, anything negative?
didn´t you forget the R? i thought that is a KTM 690 Duke R, because the
frame is orange ... i know its not much but if i had to pay more money for
a orange cooler and some other cool stuff i would definitely write it in my
video ^^ ...
Yes Ktm does use the yamaha engine they used the yamaha engines for years.
the name on engine casing differant thats all. The LC2 engine for example
is a yamaha DT engine..... Thanks for the reply mate ;)
It is not a Yamaha engine. You want to explain exactly why Yamaha would
bother making the world's most powerful single cylinder engine, then never
use it in their own vehicles?
