I dont care about the backround story with drugs and stuff... A police officer should not use this attitude and specially not shoot a guy for not putting his hands behind his head or something... It's just wrong this shit, you can't abuse your "power" like that as a policemen.. 

Ok, upon further research I discovered that Richard Ramirez was a known methamphetamine user to the authorities and was found with it in his possession and inside his body . This drug can induce bizarre and violent behavior in it's user. I don't know if anyone else notices but officer Morrison's behavior and demeanor changes once Ramirez identifies himself and immediately commands him to put his hands up. If you watch the video Morrison's says this: " Who are you? Richard?" after this the officer gets aggressive.Why? because according to Morrison's co workers Richard was identified as a suspect in a shooting the night before.You could even hear him report it. "Dispatch 374 here Richard here in the area everyone step it up." After which Morrison repeatedly commands him to put his hands up.(While we can't see what weather or not he complies, all of the people in the vehicle say he didn't, along with the cop.) According to the officer, Ramirez does not comply and begins to shift his hands up and down into his pockets repeatedly. To which the officer responds with the three shots. To summarize all the evidence, Morrison approaches the vehicle, upon identifying himself Morrison recognized him as the suspect in a shooting the night before involving methamphetamine and commands him to put his hands up to which he fails to comply and (according to the officer) reaches in his pockets. Thinking that he might have pulled a gun he shoots his gun. Idk about anyone else but it seems to me that this was an honest mistake on the officers part. Given the circumstances I don't think any officer could have done anything different. people saying he could have called for back up are being ridiculous. Not only did he call for back up, but the point when he realizes who Ramirez ( a drug dealer and user who is *suspected of a shooting the night before,*) he has to secure the vehicle. So he asked all of them to put their hands up. And when Ramirez doesn't and shifts in hands in his pockets, it's easy to understand that he thought he might pull a gun. Especially considering the same officer shot another man in 2013 in similar circumstances, who reaches for something which turns out to be a gun. Is it unreasonable for him to think that a man suspected of a shooting and a known drug dealer to pull a gun on him? I don't think so. And to be clear i'm not saying Ramirez deserves to dies for his mistake I just think this is a really unfortunate tragedy. Are you serious Jive. Read the back story on this before you make a video. The person shot was a suspect in a shooting currently being investigated by that agency. He was known to be armed and refused to follow directions. He reached for his waistband and got shot. Bottom line he didn't listen. He got shot because he failed to follow directions. It was a justified shooting. The officer has been cleared. 

I'm not trying to be on the pig side.. but if a police officer is by himself with four people in a car and he tells you to put your hands on the seat, you DO IT. We had no first person POV or bodycam, so we dont really know what exactly was going on with the guy. The cop even said when he first opened the door "Why are you moving your hands so much, you're making me nervous". He probably didn't have to shoot so fucking fast and shoot so many times.. but shit man, if a cop ain't violating your rights, do what he says do and 9 times out of 10, you will be fine. js
