If I was you, I'd maybe use a box cake instead of making this completely from scratch. Then when you get more advanced, go crazy and do it without the box! You got this!

I'm a beginner too and what I've learned after a lot of baking disasters is that if you just follow directions as best as you can, you'll probably do just fine. I think you should try it!

Yes, it's what keeps the cupcakes moist and it's a base for the cupcakes, much like butter :)

you can make the waffles and freeze them,they freeze quite well,and it's convenient if in a hurry
