Thank you Nicole, I have so much footage to work on but have been caught up with things here. I'll try to upload Dubai footage hopefully once a month till I am done.
It's interesting getting a look at your world. The Mumbai airport is
beautiful! What was the purpose of your trip, vacation? OMG Dubai is so
dry. Averaging on street tree per city block. Do they import all their
food? Nice music. Good editing on this!
+Kaye Kittrell | Late Bloomer Urban Organic Garden Show Although the landscape looks like nothing will grow, they did have plenty of marigolds growing and blooming along the roadsides with drip irrigation in place, I guess they can grow from November to Feb when its cooler, rest of the year they sizzle between 40 and 50 celcius. Ofcourse the native date palms were in abundance. Regarding seeds , I don't know what customs policy Dubai has regarding seeds. If they do allow seeds, Baker Creek would be ideal . I get almost all my seeds delivered to my door step from Baker Creek. We do have plenty of online seed retailers, but they also buy from USA and Uk and repackage for sale. Local seeds here are mostly treated with poison, so I avoid them. I haven't found a truly local organic heirloom source here in Mumbai.
+Mumbai Balcony Gardener | Avid Life Observer Explosive Desert Gardener just wrote on my new video that he lives in Dubai and can't get seeds there. I recommended he contact you for ideas. I don't know how he's growing in the desert, but if you buy topsoil, put in a raised bed, give it water and shelter from scorching heat, I suppose it's possible.
Thank you Kaye, this is the new terminal in Mumbai operational since the last 2 years. Yes we went on a vacation to Dubai. Yes you are right, Dubai imports all its fresh produce from around the world as is the case with many countries in the Middle East. Desert landscape. However they have started aquaponics , I think +RobBobs Backyard Farming gave some of his inputs during one of these setups. Dubai has a population of 4 million+ of which the native Emiratees are just above 1 million and the rest are expats from all over the world. I love aviation as much as I love gardening lol , this was my 3rd video and I thought it was an improvement on my previous 2 attempts. No retakes in aviation,
Hello Mumbai, really enjoyed the video throughout, lovely views and a
pleasant experience. Our11 hour flight to the Maldives was made more
interesting by having the great views .
+Terry King Thanks Terry , I am sure you had gorgeous views of the ocean from your window seat ! Nice time to escape from the winter into warmer territory, look forward to a video :)
Nice to see the new airport, looks so much better than the older one. I
have never been to the new one, looking forward to visiting some day :)
Lunch menu looks appetizing! Enjoy your trip!!
+California Gardening Yes very nice change for Mumbai, even better change is the road leading to the it, the earlier one was an embaressment big time !! The meals were tasty , unfortunately I realised a bit later we didn't get a pic of the adult and kids meals. Thank you , we are back after a good break:)
This is my flight from Germany to the UAE with the Emirates A380, In this video you can see what's on the flight and how it goes. I hope you will enjoy! Follow me ...
+Félix Malthhinski I experienced both. In my opinion they both are great airlines, but I liked the flight crew on emirates more than on TA. At TA they didn't smile as if they were forced to do this job:P
Emirates A380.800 Amsterdam to Dubai Business Class Full Flight.
My flight on the Emirates A380.800 in business class from Amsterdam to Dubai. Flight time was around 6 and a half hours.
The reason It's haram is because it threatens your health, go Check the Internet and see if it's safe or not, and the other reason is, when you get drunk, you might do wrong things, like killing someone if you get really mad, so if you kill someone, you will burn forever in your after life.
Theoretically it's supposed to reduce stress and the symptoms of jet lag. In reality I was still stressed and jet lagged...With no proper instructions on how often to use this stuff I think I used it up in like 2 weeks...apparently this bottle was supposed to last 2 months. A female friend had bought me it as she was about to fly to Australia and had heard about how good this stuff was...she just needed a guinea pig to try it first.
Hi Bootsy, thank you for this great report! I've seen a few reports about
business class on Emirates now but it never ceases to amaze me! The
(mini)bar, the IFE, the food, the cabin, I mean it's just insane! Onboard
camera is amazing as well, especially during landing! I loved the bathroom
shot btw ;) Thanks again and I'm really excited to see more!
Thank you very much...i completely agree..I love EK A380 business class. In June I get to fly on Qatars A380 in business...i'm looking forward to that to see how it compares to Emirates A380 service...Thanks for the comment :)
My first time ever on Emirates, an airline I'd heard a lot about. Flight time today was around 4 hrs and 5 mins. Due to a delay, we departed at 5:15 AM instead of ...
It would be embarrassing to move around askng everything you need to do from entry to exit. Hell, first time flyers will most likely be the jokers in the pack. :D
+Sreejith Well, I guess asking around would help. Signage is quite plentiful in airports nowadays, so might not be that much of a big problem. But, I see your point- it would be quite a challenge for some.
the menu is in Malayalam, but do the crew members understand it??i have
travelled with many flights, but i find emirates the best in terms of
comfort..the worst in Terms of Service was Kuwait airways, and next air
india..
I believe EK does have Malayali crew members, but they print the menus in almost all of the regional languages of India, at least where they fly to. Haven't tried Kuwait Airways yet, although I've heard a lot of opinions close to yours! Cheers!
nicely made video. And yes, I have noticed Emirates crew being extremely
nice on other routes, but particularly rude on the Dubai-India leg. A
friend in Air India cabin crew once told me that the Kerala-to-Gulf route
was considered 'punishment posting' by many, so perhaps it is the same with
EK too.
I liked the style of presentation...Its so nice......thank you....this
video helped me a lot to dream about my homeland....thanking you...I liked
all your videos...post more....
