On lift off I always feel like am being pushed into the seat. I wonder, if
you're in the rear-facing club seat, do you feel like you're gonna slide
out the seat?
Flew to Phoenix in club on a 747. And yes Infact they did. But they called it original gourmet macaroni and cheese
United Airlines BUSINESS CLASS London to Los Angeles TRIP REPORT (BUSINESS FIRST) Boeing 777 200ER
United Airlines Business First A full trip report in United Business First Boeing 777-200 United Airlines Business Class Includes Queens Terminal Lounge ...
+yamatowarp Good Question, and a keen eye, but I pretty much never take my shoes off on a daytime flight, even this one at 11 hours, but on a nighttime flight when I sleep I do.
Nice video. Can't tell whether or not you close your window shades in
between video shots, but you seem you keep them open for long periods.
During long day-time flights this really spoils movie/video watching for
those around you. FYI.
What did you think of the seats? 2-4-2 is sure a crammed configuration for
business, they seem a bit narrow, are they comfortable enough for sleeping?
+lg.aguila I guess it really depends on the distance of the flight, if you are flying LHR-LAX or LAX-NRT or something around 11 hours long then depending on the price it could be worth the business class fare. If you are flying LHR-JFK or LAX-NYC or something under 7 hours I think booking economy would be fine, and then maybe pay the little extra amount to economy + which will get you about 3 - 4 inches more leg room, which can make a difference on a flight of that length. The main difference is that I can't sleep in chairs, but can in beds, so it also depends on the direction, if the flight is during the day, I'm fine with economy as I know i won't sleep, but I always try for business class when heading east overnight, except tonight where I will be flying United for 6 hours in coach :)
+When I Travel The World Thanks for the input! Would you say it's worth the money for a transatlantic flight? I might need to take a transatlantic with UA in the near future, and I'm not really sure if I'm better off just flying economy. I have tried AA's retrofitted 767s biz, and I did get some heavenly sleep on it, and I can say KLM's New World Business class is pretty good, does UA's business class measure up?
+lg.aguila I did find it strange that the seats opposite me faced me directly from the middle, I spent a lot of time looking at the people in the 4 middle seats facing backwards. The seat was comfortable though when fully flat and I Was able to get some sleep.
NZ 1 - London Heathrow to Los Angeles - Air NZ 777-300ER (ZK-OKP) - Beautiful sunset landing
This was the start of my journey back home to NZ via Los Angeles again. Once again, so many thanks to Air New Zealand for the fantastic service! It's not ...
Sitting at the back of the plane when taking off is a horrible feeling! I
prefer sat in front of the wing or level with it, much smoother and
comfortable take-off seat!
Best thing is to wait until you are 2 feet off the ground, then jump. It worked in a Pink Panther cartoon I saw 40 years ago. FYI, you lose 1 degree Celcius per 500 feet. So at 30000 feet, the temperature is 60 degree lower than on the ground - well into the minus bit on the thermometer. Pressure wise, the standard atmosphere is 1013.25 HPa at sea level, at 15 degrees Celcius. 1 HectoPascal is the same as 1 millibar, which is a certain fraction of an inch in old money. For every 10 metres (33 feet) off the ground, subtract 1 HPa. Above around 4500 metres, you begin to die.
+Hanna Aggassa Because half the passengers would be too scared to jump. There wouldn't be enough time to get everyone off because each one would hesitate before jumping and there's how many hundred passengers? You'd crash before everyone was off and all the people standing around would get thrown around the cabin and die.
+Hanna Aggassa You could try hold your breath but the pressure inside the plane is a lot higher than outside the plane. Which means if you were suddenly thrown out of the plane your lungs would have pressure in them much higher than outside your body and the air would likely just push it's way out your mouth.Planes can freeze so I think people can too. All the moving flaps on the wings are heated to stop them freezing because obviously you couldn't steer the plane if they iced over. Everything that moves on the plane is heated to stop it icing up. Also the cabin is heated to stop the passengers icing up :)
Yup. This isnt the full flight. Yes , i've read the description. Only
putting in the key moments does NOT make it the full flight. It makes it a
highlight reel.
Cool. You can go complain on everyone else that uses "Full Flight" on these types of videos or make your own with what you think is a more appropriate title.

ANZ2 - Los Angeles to London - Boeing 777-300ER (Full Flight & ATC)
Please read before commenting - I won't respond to anything that is already answered in this description. THANK YOU!** Flight: Air New Zealand (ANZ) 2 Date: ...
+10Exahertz you probably dont have to get into the flight deck, a radio reciver that capable for the VHF could do the job in flight once you know the frequency, dont know if they are belong to transmiting device or not.
+No Rulz (advent) This flight NZ 2 goes from Auckland to Los Angeles then onto Heathrow. The return Heathrow flight NZ1 does the reverse. Air NZ also flies additional return flights from Auckland to Los Angeles and vice versa. Only NZ 1 and 2 do both legs ie Auckland Los Angeles Heathrow
Because ANZ connect via LAX from Auckland to Heathrow. You can book either leg, not only both. Normally only about half the pax are doing the entire two legs.

Love your videos, looking for flights to LA from Heathrow which airline
would you recommend Air New Zealand, Virgin Atlantic, British Airways,
United or Delta. As you have flown this route many times on all these
airlines (except Delta) I hoping you will give me the best answer.
+HeathrowSpottingHD Thanks, I personally like the a340. I cant wait for your next trip report! The new 787-9's look really nice, didn't realize they started operating the 787's on that route and they are still operating a340-600's (:
+Virgin Atlantic Orlando Hey dude. I'd recommend ANZ or BAW personally! Though I'm flying Virgin in May on the B787-9 to LA - so I'm hoping it's better than the awful A340-600 flight I had in 2011. I'll have a trip report video on that in a few weeks :-) Never flown Delta.
I have watched this video three times so far. I find it so relaxing. Great
Video of my favourite plane 777 and i love L.A been there loads of times
from EGLL. Thank you for sharing.
