I do beatuifull porting work on 2 stroke engines, i was taught by none
other than the 70's-80's motorbike legend Stan Stevens. Please send me a
message if you want to go faster.
Today I will be Unboxing The RC Silver Bullet Nitrous Oxide Injection System ( NS5000-01B ) from Rb Innovations Products in the color of blue for my RC Nitro ...
To the name of; Teamjuicerc Yes the Nitrous will add more power to the
nitro engine by at less 50% on top of what you have already now and here is
the web address here for you at w w w . rbinnovations . com
Running the RC Silver Bullet Nitrous Injection Kit by RB Innovations
We take out our Silver Bullet Nitrous Injection Kit and give it a test run in this week's video. RBInnovations.com/Nitrous_Systems_s/53.htm RBInnovations.com ...
ok, why the fuck would you play stupid music...when trying to demo the
silver bullet? and what the hell is with the stupid camra work? this is a
poor poor effort on RB's end. What a shame.
As a question since you cant censor me with google plus, how do you feel
about the fact that this nitrous injection kit fries your engine with
extended use?
+lynxZenfold lol these guys are actually censoring people on the internet so people dont realize their products are bad? YAY,.. i love when i find reasons to troll people,.. THE WAR IS ON RB INNOVATIONS!!!! and you WILL lose it... you didnt mind fucking others over, so get rdy to bow down and take some back,.. you say you sell things on the internet??? not for long my friend,.. not for long....
+Sandro BoghossianMy friend has a real competition engine 23cc on a 1/5th german motor (dont know which brand), and makes a very cool sound, different than all motors I have ever heard.Even though this one is 2strokes, it doesn't sound anything like a chainsaw, and has huge power.I don't like nitro, though I have an airplane and 1 car with nitro engines.I really enjoy the 1/10th Electric drift car, but people take it as a little toy, because of the electric sound. On the other hand my Nitro Monster, is booring on tarmac, but people take it serious and run away from it, because of the huge sound it makes, specially when reducing gears it sounds like a car on real life reducing gear (it even sounds a little like the Lancia rally car Group B, a sound from HELL).
@1994JUSTIND You should do some research before you let your ignorance
shine through like you are. The linkage you see moving is the actuator
screw opening the valve for the nitrous oxide. Look a little closer you
will see it. Guess what my 2.5R Revo smokes 3.3 revos on a regular basis
(even my 3.3 Revo) I have been running nitro RC's for over 20 years I can
assure you I know exactly what I am doing. If your in the Pacific Northwest
I would be more than happy to give you a demonstration.
I have put larger engines in other maxxes (I have one with a Ofna Picco .26
in it) nitrous is just another option. No detnation does not occur. When
running nitrous exhaust pressure increases thus increasing fuel flow to the
carb. According to our testing during a WOT nitrous run the engine sees 64%
more fuel than it would during a non nitrous run. In over 5 years of
running nitrous on RC engines I have never caused damage to an RC engine
due to nitrous.
Well there are a number of reasons this could happen, the number 1 cause is
people set the gears too tight to each other, there has to be some slop in
there. The best way to deal with the gear lash is to loosen the adjustment
up put a piece of paper between the clutch bell and the spur gear then
slide them together. Remove the paper and your lash will be perfect. Use
that technique until you get a good feel for the gear lash.
and it still has a larger more powerful engine than the old Maxx did, the
point of the ballooning tires is the stock Pro .15 won't balloon them that
much after the truck is already at WOT without nitrous. That engine was
spinning the tires as fast as it could, hit nitrous and all of a sudden the
RPMs go up enough and fast enough to get the tires to balloon.
Sorry I didn't mean to delete your last comment, clicked remove instead of
reply. Anyway you have a built in primer, while cranking the engine over
(either via pull start or roto start) place your finger over the exhaust
pipe (without your glow starter attached) this will prime your engine. It
only take 3 or 4 cranks to get her primed. Works like a charm!
@1994JUSTIND Yes my revo tires balloon at full speed as well, however I can
assure you that was not half throttle going to full. Apparently you did not
actually watch the video. I am actually going to be fitting my Revo with
nitrous in the next couple days and will be updating my videos. Thanks for
the comment and watching my videos.
No actually nitrous oxide does not burn, there is no fuel in nitrous oxide
to burn. Nitrous oxide is an oxidizer not a fuel. When the nitrous is put
under heat and pressure the nitrogen and oxygen atoms break apart thus
adding oxygen to the combustion chamber creating a more rapid and complete
burn hence the increase in power.
lol, I really don't know you do have to be careful to not flood it using
this technique, it's a little hard to flood a big block though so your in
luck. Works really well and you don't have to taste nitro methane every
time you wanna run your truck. I've been in the hobby now for 16 years, I
guess you just pick up on things :)
Yeah I have seen the e savage, it's cool electric is a blast too! I ran a
motorcycle with a 6800kv castle creations brushless setup with an 11.2
LiPoly battery pack. We radar confirmed that little bike a 74.8 MPH :) It
was a handful! The bike was a Kyosho Hang On Rider, I wish I still had it!
Nitrous oxide does not work by pressuring the combustion chamber, it works
be creating a more rapid and complete burn of the fuel in the combustion
chamber. So actually it does produce considerably more power by burning
more fuel much much quicker.
NO KIDDING WOW!!! Your "stock" savage also has a big block on it, this maxx
has a Pro .15 your savage has a lot more power than this older maxx, and
guess what this old stock maxx with nitrous stomped a Savage with an XTM
247 Pro.
@WhatAreWeDoingForFun The nitrous kit is hooked up to the third channel,
reverse is locked out on this maxx. I intentionally put my hand in the view
so you could see when I activated the nitrous. Nothing fake there.
@rigthguard420 Yes that is a T Maxx, the nitrous kits are no longer
available. I am aware of the superchargers they work however at the cost of
blowing tons of raw fuel out of the exhaust and very difficult tuning.
@brocklebouef Umm, it shifted into 2nd gear then I hit the nitrous oxide,
go back watch the video again. Nothing fake at all this is nitrous oxide
injection. Take a look at my other nitrous oxide videos as well.
man...it must suck having people think they know what theyre talking
about...and have the balls to call you out on something they know jack shit
about... keep up the good work man...great vid
Yes I used the third channel, there are no measurable effects from the
nitrous system. You won't be able to get this nitrous system because I am
no longer producing them.
mini rc scale Powertank, Nos Nitrous Oxide Bottle or air tank for rc crawler
Here is a cool little scale air tank or Nos Nitrous Oxide Bottle item found on ebay that might look good in your scale truck. Search: NOS NITROUS OXIDE ...
+Race730 lol yeah a smart person... see I smoke cigars and the little lighter nos tank is freakin sweet. I can pull that in my pocket and light my cigar with butane feul.
It is! Looks just like the co2 air tanks made by Powertank. I found the lighters on ebay, search for "nos nitrous oxide lighter" ... I see some in California and Australia.
Nice one. I have one of those lighters and had a similar idea. But I've
lost the top part that looks like the regular and tap :-( lol. Mine is
yellow and red with blue flames at the bottom.
What a great idea, I bet there are probably heaps of lighters that are
shaped like things you could use as scale accessories, need the larger
scale like you have there though I would say. Love the exhaust sytem. You
are a master craftsman when it comes to this stuff my friend (-:
+Race730Yeah I thought about that too as I have one from an old tank, but I have seen vids with crawlers with smoke and the smoke just kinda lingers around, looks a bit weird to me
+Race730Nah it's a diesel what it does need are some exhaust stacks going up the side behind the cab, not sure if it will suit, still toying with the idea (-:
+Jax Teller RC Thanks Jax :) Ebay is a dangerous place to browse LOL. You know how it goes LOL. I see some NOX lighters on ebay listed right in your neck of the woods. Maybe your workhorse 'Mog needs one? :)
Wow, sweet accessories indeed Race! I was also checking out your excellent
shop/garage in the reflection as well lol! That's "hot" one might say!
Thumbs up! Best regards!
+Cadillacstsv06 Thanks man. hahaha ... whoa ya ... the man-cave, or in other terms, the place the neighbors come to borrow my tools LOL

RC Nitro Redcat 1/10 Scale Sonic car using the nitro engine cxp 18, With the Supercharger & Nitrous out for a quick run for the day. Yes it dose make a big ...
The truck was tied down, with 30 pound test dacron, and I am well aware of
what comes out of a compressor, which was only blowing on the COOLING FINS
of the engine which has really nothing to do with the air going into the
engine. I deleted your post because it was rude and did not contribute at
all. Noob, no not even a little bit. By the way if you have loads of oil
coming out of your compressor, ya might wanna look into it there is
something wrong. A small amount of oil is normal (very smal)
@wsbill14224 You are mostly correct but not 100%, you get more fuel
delivery during a nitrous oxide run in an RC car due to a sequence of
events that takes place during a nitrous run. When the nitrous oxide breaks
down in the combustion chamber the added oxygen causes a more rapid and
complete burn of the fuel, this in turn increases combustion chamber
pressure (hence more power) the increased combustion chamber pressure
causes higher pressure in the exhaust system.
and to Mattbaugh nitrous oxide is not forced induction would you condier a
air intake coller to be forcing air no it getting more oxygen atoms in
there learn basic chemistry i have friends who don't know shit about cars i
mean they don't even know if the car they are driving is a v6 v8 i6 i4 etc
but they can figure out thats not forcing it in dip shit and if you don't
believe it works don't buy any system using nos and when you get beaten by
someone with it don't cry
it is not forced induction, the nitrous is injected at extremely low PSI
otherwise it would have blown the air cleaner right off. When the nitrous
is injected it causes a more rapid and complete burn of the fuel in the
combustion chamber. This causes an increase in exhaust pressure which in
turn increases fuel tank pressure. During out test runs we found a wide
open throttle run with nitrous burns 64% more fuel than a non nitrous run.
There is no lean condition.
When an engine "blows" while using nitrous oxide 99% of the time it is due
to a lean condition which basically causes the nitrous to burn holes in the
pistons. So the short answer to your question is no there is no
modification needed to run nitrous on these engines. Like I have said time
and time again in the 4 years of experimentation we did before releasing
this we never blew an engine with nitrous. I have yet to blow one with
nitrous to this day.
Yes nitrous oxide is cold, and yes that does increase horse power however
that is not where the majority of the increase comes in. For every 10
degrees you lower intake temp you pick up about 1% in horse power. The
major increase comes from the added oxygen you get from the nitrous oxide
entering the combustion chamber and oxidizing or burning the fuel more
rapidly. See my video for a demonstration. Nitrous oxide through a
cigarette.
um don't mean to chew off your head here but you said that there's no need
to mod the engine for it. wouldn't you need to comp for the extra pressure
put on the engine. i mean i have friends who blew there engines on full
size cars because the engine couldn't take the excess pressure. like i said
not trying to call you out you have done a great job with it was just
currius if i was oblivius to something.
The fuel does not have nitrous oxide the fuel has nitro methane two
completely different things. The nitrous oxide acts as an oxidizer and
produces more power than the nitro methane alone can. Also viscosity has
nothing to do what so ever with the nitro content. Viscosity refers to the
thickness more or less of a liquid. The nitro methane, alcohol, and oil
content is a product of mixture percentage.
With a supercharger you are correct, however because nitrous is not
pressurizing the crank case it is simply pulled in with the fuel it does in
fact work. Clearly watch the video that is nothing more than nitrous oxide.
Have you tried it? No? I didn't think so I have run thousands of bottles of
nitrous through my RC vehicles (some non RC too) and I can tell it you it
does work plain and simple.
Yeah the maxx diffs from the factory have a VERY poorly set gear lash, what
is sad is they are very aware of it yet they don't do anything about it.
They need to switch to an 1/8th scale diff like the Savage has. My .26 Maxx
had aluminum diff cups and an all RRP steel trans (internals were steel as
well as the spur gear) my main problem with that monster is twisting my
steel drive lines.
funny thing is my friend had a tmaxx 2.5 and upgraded to 3.3 and it dose
wheelies like crazy but never bashed it or anything but his rear diff got
killed by the power and all his tranny mounting bolts fell off lmao but i
have a savage and i bash the shit out of it and nothing happened only
slightly bent the axle thats it and some break problems from crappy steel
disks
@jevans3d Since you install them for a living you should know the power
from Nitrous being around 36% pure oxygen. The air we breathe, the same air
that gets sucked into an engine is only about 21% pure oxygen. Just like
itsgr82bl8 said, you're basically injecting more oxygen into the chamber.
More oxygen and more fuel = more power. Its not how cold the air is.
Ahh an interesting fact about nitrous oxide is brought out by this very
subject. Nitrous oxide causes an endothermic reaction when it is broken
down into oxygen and nitrogen. Endothermic reactions actually absorb heat,
thus when nitrous is run in an RC engine at wide open throttle we found
engine temps to drop an average of 10 degrees F during 10 second runs.
Then we ran 2 gallons of 20% fuel through both of them, on 1 engine we ran
just fuel the other engine ran 2 tanks of nitrous per tank of fuel. After
two gallons (about 60 tanks of fuel and 120 bottles of nitrous) we again
tore the engines down and measured piston, sleeve, and bearing surfaces. We
found no significant difference between the two engines.
hey people what other evidence do you need other than when he shot the
nitrous it made the tires go faster and in doing that would have made the
truck go faster if it were on the ground. So all scientific explanations
aside, see it with your eyes it did make a difference, weather or not you
think it did, would, should or could have, it did.
I 100% agree with you...after reading your comment I decided to go back and
read through the comments and to tell you the truth, it's just hilarious
seeing all these people tell him he's doing something wrong when he
obviously knows more about this than all of these dumbasses put together.
Two thumbs up and a pat on the back to itsgr82bl8.
I love ignorant comments like yours, the truck is on rollers, the mass of
the rollers combined with the load we put on the suspension is very close
to the load it would see driving down the street. I have been in the
industry for 17 years now, I am very well aware of what I am doing. The
engine is just fine.
When the nitrous is injected it increases combustion chamber pressure thus
also increasing exhaust pressure. This increased exhaust pressure increases
fuel tank pressure which in turn supplies more fuel. During a wide open
throttle run with nitrous the engine will see an increase in fuel by 64%
That is actually a test stand not a dyno, it is made using a section of
conveyor. I am however working on a chassis dyno currently that will show
actual horse power at the wheels. The nitrous kit is my own design we
patented the nitrous kit, unfortunaly we are no longer producing the kit.
actually.. i know a group by me that does professional performance to these
engines and since its in a way a diesel engine.. ive seen some 100+mph rc's
on propane and small vortec and rooter chargers also.. these kits are
THOUSANDS tho haha great video.. i like the testing on the rollers
Sounds like you are running lean, try turning your high speed needle out
about 1 turn and go from there. Sounds like your engine is overheating
which causes the engine to shut down either from vapor lock, or from a loss
of compression due to the piston sleeve over expanding or both.
Dam, there nitro cars and trucks mostly are gunna need a bigger fuel tank
if the nitro fuel is burned 64% faster than normal. might as well spend the
cash you'd be spending on nitro fuel, on a new nitro engine that goes as
fast as it would if you had nitrous, or the closest thing
One of the Fastest RC Gasoline Cars in the World + Nitrous System 60 meters in 3 sec
Buti Al Mehairi Driving his RC car, hpi baja SS modified with Nitrous System,, 60 meters in 3 seconds..
@riderinblack57 i would love to put you in my 1:1 scale efi mustang and run
you down the track at 176 mph in 7.9 seconds. but theres no room for
passengers due to the huge intercoolers riding shotgun.. but yea your right
drag racing is boring.!! lol lol. these guys are doin there thing and from
one rider, driver, r/c er to another, you should respect all forms of
motorsports, after all your name is the rider in black!
@JoeyXXX555 yeah looking back at it now it maybe was a little harsh ...but
we all say stuff we dont mean ...but still imo i find other motorsports
better like rally dakar and offroad races such as baja ..but your right all
motor sports are kick ass but a 10 sec run just dont cut it for me but to
each his own ...cheers mate
im not hating its just this is pretty pointless.... nos...is the cheapest
way to make power...drag racing is the most boring sport ever...and sand is
for little girls...i wanna see it jump then get sideway with rocks and
trees flying by
that 1 didnt have the nos on it lol the last vid said it had nos and should
it with the nos bottle in it hooked up nice buggy thow any ways just wanted
to see the nos run
wow that is beast, your baja averaged out at 72km/h!! so at the end you
were probably travelling at over 100 because of the acceleration!! And you
are on sand!!!!!!!!!!!!
ur right even just looking at other people there in different positions in
different clothes and the little one is brighter which makes u think its
another time of day
Nah it's the same run, if the camera in bigger vid panned right, you would
see the other truck next to him. Vice versa for the small vid. Just tricky
angles..
