Euro NCAP Crash Test of Dacia Logan MCV 2014
Frontal Impact takes place at 64 Km/h, 40% of the width of the car striking a deformable barrier. In the side impact, a mobile deformable barrier impacts the ...
If you take your road thincking to an accident, you' re just stupid. Or,
buy helicopters. Well done. MCV got 3 stars, you love your family and buy
new passat (idiot comparation). Supose you pay no attention for one second,
and one train will knock you with 200 km/ h. What will happen??? Your car
has 5 stars, but what will happen in this situation?
+MrSssyyttrryy It's not about that. It's about the most common crashes. That's what these tests are about. They aren't made for the off-chance that you will get hit by a meteor or your way to the shops, or accidentally end up on the train tracks of the bullet train, heading in the opposite direction.
+Foxy The Gamer [RO] You don't know English. Identical means the same, which they are not. The Duster is a cheap, off-road CAPABLE (note, not meant for offroading, but capable of some offroading) SUV. The Qashqai is a big luxury SUV that is NOT meant to go off-road. Despite the fact that both of them are SUV's, they have nothing in common. The Duster is in a MUCH lower class than the Qashqai, it's less safe, it's slower, less well made and is less comfortable. I know that the duster is for people with less money, however it is in NO WAY a competitor to the Qashqai, and it never can be at that price point.
+Newgenerationisbg ..... you don t understand.the duster has identic platforme with Quasqai.Quasqai is for people with money, and the Duster is for low people.
+Foxy The Gamer [RO] That is wrong. They have absolutely nothing in common, they share no parts. The Qashqai uses double wishbone front suspension, the Duster uses a Macpherson strut system. You have no idea what you are talking about, and seriously, stop riding the "My country made it so it's good" bandwagon. If you want good cars, look for them outside of your narrow point of view. Want a good family sedan? Go for an older Volvo or Audi. Want a practical car that performs as well as a Duster in offroad conditions but is also comfortable and safe on the road? Get a Subaru Legacy Outback. They even have more power than what the puny engines in the Duster offer.Again, Dacia are cheap cars, not good cars. Don't mistake the two. A Subaru Impreza is a good car. A Dacia Logan is a cheap car that rattles when you go over a pothole (same as a Sandero. The Duster fairs a bit better, but interior quality is still some of the worst I have ever seen).
+Foxy The Gamer [RO] Why are you fanboying so hard over Dacia? Judging by your G+ posts you are too young to know what a good car is compared to a bad one, and you have just been brainwashed with all that "be a patriot" crap that gets tossed around by old people. By the way, over here, the Qashqai starts at 19,000 euros, and the dusters starts at 12,000. But stop comparing Dacia to cars that are simply out of their league. Compare them to Great Wall or something. The Qashqai is MUCH safer than the Duster, much more well equipped and quite a bit faster as well. If Dacia offered the duster with a decent V6 engine, then it would be a contender to some other low-cost SUV's. But with the small selection of underpowered engines it comes with, it's not even close. Again, my 20 year old Audi has a more powerful engine than a brand new SUV, and it's slow as crap. Can't imagine it having to haul an extra 2-300KG in a less aerodynamic shell...
+Foxy The Gamer [RO] I know. I am Bulgarian. And here, people would rather buy an old German car than a new Dacia. Only companies buy Dacias because they are cheap to insure as a company car, and their tax is also low.
+Foxy The Gamer [RO] Doesn't matter. The Dacia still performs like absolute crap. It performs only slightly better than my 1996 Audi A4. A design that is 20 years old, and you can get a second hand A4 for less than 1000 euros in some cases, not 7000 euros like the Dacia. Not to mention build quality, comfort and extras. Dual zone climate control, a nice comfortable suspension, same chassis that was used for the performance RS4 and the interior doesn't squeak 20 years later. I've been in a Sandero and Logan. They are OK for the price point, but nothing compared to what you can get second hand for MUCH cheaper. Nab yourself a 15 year old Volvo S40 for half the price of a Sandero or Logan. You will be safe and secure, with a lot of luxuries and enough leftover cash to maintain the car for another 15 years.
+Melih E. Because the best car is a new car, or so some people believe. Most people who buy this car just buy it as a cheap run-around for the city. It's also perfect for a taxi. It's cheap to maintain, and it's new, so a taxi driver can drive it around happily for 10 years until he is required to replace it.
+picklesrule69 my thoughts exactly, why people even buy this shitty car, there are lots of second hand cars in same price range with much more performance, luxury and comfort.
