Honestly, I don't think the cop should get in trouble. Yes, I think he's wrong. And I think he's a dumbass, and an idiot. But something he said outside of work, to friends, even if it was on facebook, shouldn't be held against him for work. Free speech and all that. Same kinda stuff as a kid seeing a teacher outside of school, calling the teacher a name, then getting detention for it. Like, it wouldn't work. It was said outside of where he's getting in trouble. Again, I don't think the guy should have said it, I don't agree with him, but he's allowed to say whatever he wants due to the whole free speech thing. It wasn't technically a threat. He didn't say HE was gonna do anything to anyone, he just said he's surprised no one has yet. Yes, he insulted someone(badly, but still), but he's ALLOWED to insult someone. Just like I'm allowed to call him an idiot without getting in trouble.

I half agree with this. The thing about free speech is you have to allow people with terrible opinions to voice them if they choose. (Of course, using a website to voice an opinion is actually not a place of free speech because you are using a company's program to do it, and therefore it's under their jurisdiction on whether or not they'll allow it, but that doesn't seem to be an issue in this case.) That said, I think they should either fire him, or reevaluate his place on the force. Not because he exercised free speech, but because it turns out he's likely to discriminate because of his beliefs.

It's not obama thats the problem, it doesnt matter that obama is a muslim, who gives a sh*t? Only ignorent people do, he is just a puppet, like all the other "elected" officials, in all countries. It's time that the people, the citizens of the world start to act now and take control. We are all smart human beings who can decide for ourselves. I vote for green energy, get rid of silly laws that only have been made to enslave and backrupt the normal middle and lower class of society, give less to the rich, more to the poor, end human and animal genocide right now.
