The forty-first episode of Albuquerque's Worst Drivers. Red car: My 2007 Toyota Camry, Using G1W & CDR840 Red SUV: 2007 Jeep Liberty, Using G1W Silver ...
Yes, it does say should. The driver's handbook is a list of absolute rules
to be followed, and when options are available, they are listed. Nowhere in
there does it say you can pick any lane you want, but it does say you
SHOULD stay in your own lane. I guarantee if you run into someone because
you feel you own the entire road and cause an accident by plowing into
someone in their lane, YOU will be found at fault and ticketed.
No, the BMW would probably be cited and found at fault for the accident. The driver failed to yield to oncoming traffic because their light was red. If both lights were green and the same thing happened then yes, the dashcam driver would have been in the wrong and had they collided then the driver would be at fault for the accident because she failed to yield. If you're not from New Mexico then you are not familiar with the driving "culture." In New Mexico EVERYONE turns into the lane they need to be in. Like I pointed out everyone in front of this car turned into the right lane as well. NO ONE turns into the closest lane and changes lanes later unless it's dual turn. The BMW driver is either an ass or an idiot. If you drive like that here, you better have an ambulance following you everywhere.
+Bad Drivers of Albuquerque Wow thanks i should be fine with the weater only times i drive is when going to school 7Am its super cold and when going back home at 3pm I should be fine with the A/C blowing on the windows. I like the features the GW1 has for the price but i just hate the way its shaped and the silver ring around it. I think will just paint it all matt black when get it thanks for the feed back :D
It definitely depends where you live! Once we started having spring-like weather here it does NOT work. When it gets to around 70 degrees in the middle of the day it just doesn't work. I've lost quite a few good clips that way. It turns on and starts recording, but about 20 seconds later - while I'm driving, it randomly turns off.If you live in a more mild climate it is probably awesome. With a high-speed SD card it gets crystal-clear footage, definitely easy to get the plate number of a car in front or off to the side. It has a really nice wide angle lens, but not so much that it distorts clips. So if you live really far north or drive before it heats up or after it cools down then it'll probably work fine!I got mine from Amazon but the seller I bought it from doesn't sell them any more. I'd just suggest going on Amazon and type in G1W Dashcam and buy it from a seller that says "Fulfilled by Amazon" that way if it's a knock-off version you can return it for free! You don't even have to pay return shipping.
Why are you honking at the BMW at 3:50 when you didn't change into the
closest lane? The BMW is correct and you are wrong in this case. (one of
the only times in 41 episodes)
The car turning had a red light and he must yield to everything. Even if the car was breaking the law (which I'm almost certain he isn't in this case), the person with the red has the least right of way.
Please see the other comment. The driver had a green arrow, the BMW had a red arrow. In New Mexico, unless there's a dual turn, you can choose what lane you turn into. The BMW ran a red light.
+Wildman Oh, yeah. I'm not saying anything bad about you, sorry if it came off that way. I didn't think the manual was "on my side," the way it's worded it says the opposite.
+nonyabeezwaxbiatch +jl79sgirl +Wildman I think we can safely stop quoting the NM driver's manual. It's shit. It's worded horribly and the NM State website has no database to look up laws. Regardless of rules, according to Albuquerque's driving culture the BMW is very much in the wrong.
Reread page 7 with the RED and GREEN caps. Page 13 applies only to streets WITHOUT traffic lights, which does not apply in this case. Here is a quote from page 7: "A steady RED traffic light means stop."
I read the pages, and all it says is that one SHOULD turn into the closest lane, but it doesn't say you MUST, and it doesn't say that if you decide to turn into the rightmost lane and some idiot turns in front of you when they have a RED LIGHT, that it is your fault. So regardless of whether or not one SHOULD turn into whatever lane, the fact remains that the BMW pulled out when they had a RED light so they are at fault and no one else. Simple as that. Last time I checked RED doesn't mean go, GREEN does. Only car at fault here is the one turning on a red. What about that are you having trouble understanding? BMW didn't have the right of way, no matter how you want to slice it.
+nonyabeezwaxbiatch I was always taught that you can turn on a red light after coming to a complete stop, as long as there is no sign prohibiting turning on a red (and I know that can vary by state - and here in Albuquerque we do have a few intersections that specifically state "no turn on red." ) Otherwise, turning on solid red (not red arrow) is legal after coming to a complete stop. I was also always taught that in the case like at 3:50, the driver turning left legally needs to stay in their lane, and the person turning right likewise can turn at the same time, as long as they stay in their lane as well. It's handled inconsistently here in NM (elsewhere too?) - some people do it as I mentioned, and some do it as seen on the video.
+Bad Drivers of Albuquerque Same in houston, you can pick your lane if it's a single turn, which is the case in this video. LOL, that BMW driver is probably from Canada if he's following Canadian rules. If he's not, then he's just an idiot.
+Dashcam Québec The BMW driver is not in the right since he had a RED LIGHT. As others have stated, when you've got a green arrow as long as it's not a double turn lane you can turn into whichever lane you want. I don't care to debate semantics with you, but how can you suggest that a person who turned on a RED LIGHT could be in the right here? You never, never, never make a turn in front of on coming traffic. To think you can anticipate what a person will do can be suicide. BMW clearly in the wrong here.
+Tanzanite800 Exactly we "aren't supposed" to do that, but the driver was in the right. Especially since the BMW ran a red arrow. In New Mexico you won't get ticketed for it unless you caused a crash. For example, had the driver of the dashcam car only had a green light and turned into the right lane then hell yeah, the driver is at fault but the driver had a green arrow.
+Dashcam Québec No, no one in the state does that. No one. Did you not see everyone ahead of this driver turned into the right lane as well. That's because everyone will be making a right turn immediately after to get onto the highway going south.
well the point is if you would have turned in the left lane like it says here:"When making turns, go from one lane to the other as directly as possible without crossing lane lines or interfering with traffic."and like the BMW driver probably thought you were going to do, there would be no problem. ..that's all I have to say about that.
+Dashcam Québec I've actually had debates about this before with the wording. There it says "should" but with dual turning it says "must" either way, cops do the same maneuver all the time. That's the least followed "rule" of all time, less than signalling. When turning, it is smart to get into the lane you need first, so you don't need to change lanes later. I can't believe you have more of a problem with turning into the right lane more than that person running a red light and in effect failing to yield.
"Turning—Where there are no signs or lane markings to control turning, you should turn from the lane that is closest to the direction you want to go and turn into the lane closest to the one you came from. This way, you will cross the fewest lanes of traffic. When making turns, go from one lane to the other as directly as possible without crossing lane lines or interfering with traffic. Once you have completed your turn, you can change to another lane if you need to. Always use turn signals when changing lanes or turning"Taken from the New Mexico driver manual//www.nmcycling.org/advocacy/NM_Driver_Manual_Jun11.pdf.
+Bad Drivers of AlbuquerqueI don't know what the rules are where you guys live but here in Vancouver,BC my mom turned left into the right lane like you did and she got a ticket from a cop for doing that.
Not in the real world! See how literally everyone else turned into the right lane as well? That's how it really works. The NM driver's manual says you are allowed to choose your lane if it's not dual turn.

RooR Bongs and Tony Stewart
Cannon is back and is a robot (you'll understand soon)! This week on The Weed News with Mike Cannon, Mike covers the death by Tony Stewart of a stoned ...
Hey Mike, I'm in the market for a RooR. I'm probably just going to get a
straight tube RooR w/ no perc's or anything anyway, but on the sites i've
looked at it seems like the RooR's getting sold w/ different perc's in them
say they were made in America, where site's just selling RooR's like the
Little Sista or other straight tube, no perc RooR's (Like on Grasscity)
seem to be from Germany. Just wondering if there's a big difference in
quality between the German made and American made RooR's? I usually look
for just American glass, but seeing how famous RooR is, and that they
originate in Germany, I have no problem getting a bong made in Europe,
especially if the quality for the German made RooR's is greater then the
RooR's produced here.
German engineering is pretty solid in every field, so I don't think you can go wrong with getting it from Europe. BUT I will say that every one I've used has been made in the USA and has been really great. Maybe even go to your local glass shop and check them out in person to see what's right for you. It's tough to gauge via a picture.
