Duck Heart Teslacoil - A young duck learns how to deal with a bus stop menace through the use of high voltage weaponry. Director/Writer: Tyler J. Kupferer ...
First off very good art direction with the characters and backgrounds. The
"cardboard cutout" aesthetic is done to perfection here, makes South Park
look like trash. Secondly I used to work professionally with Flash and it
looks like the software has come a LONG way since back then (2005). Is that
"focus" effect just a filter or something? Also the tumbling of the box
looks perfect, physics-wise - is there some trick to this? Finally great
use of tweening, everything looks so smooth.
I am off to check out all your Flash tutorial vids, but I have heard from
multiple people now that modern Flash is much, much improved in regards to
handling things like stretch and squash. Is this something you could
elaborate on here if you have time? I try to research on google but all
I've found so far is "inverse kinematics", which looks cool, but getting
smooth and consistent animation from Flash in 2005 was a TON of work, and
in some ways harder than doing it in with paper.
The style of this animation is second to none. I love everything about it
especially the arrt style. Im currently working on some ideas for an
animation for University but I'm struggling with how to design my
characters. I've got ideas but I love that style youve got. any tutorials
on how to design a character using that style? Tips on characters and
backgrounds would be much appreciated. Seriously this is an amazing
animation...I love it.
Well, this particular film was designed to be a high-efficiency production.
There's only two characters, one environment, limited camera angles and the
animation is done using tweens. The key to producing more complex animation
is to get a very talented crew. That's how I'm making my next film, which
will be all hand-drawn. But you can't jump into it. You have to start
simple like with this film and work your way up.
By itself After Effects can add motion to translations it is applying to
layers, but not footage with moving objects inside it. That CAN be
accomplished using third-party plugins like ReelSmart Motion Blur. This
film only uses the first method. Anything we moved around in AfterFX had
motion blur, including character walks and camera pans. Also some blur was
simulated in Flash using layer effects.
This was great, after I finish finals this tuesday I'm going back over your
tutorials. This was just absolutely amazing. Im a fine artist but I can
never wrap my mind around animating. I just got Flash, so I'm definitely
going to try my hand at it before I take a class this fall. Amazing work!
Btw, my daughter sat here and watch this whole thing with smiles and she
liked the music! lol
I love the video! I was in LA when it came through at Graumann's but I
wasn't able to make it. Big bummer. You should consider uploading this to
Vimeo if you haven't already. They support 1080P and a video of this
quality is likely to be noticed and promoted by the staff which means many
thousands of views for you. I look forward to your next video.
Hey, thanks so much for the reply, but just to clarify, if you import an
swf or flash file into after effects and turn motion blur on for the comp
and layer, is motion blur automatically applied, or are there some other
workflow tricks? (I don't have flash, which is why I'm asking instead of
testing.) Thanks again, and your work is really gorgeous.
This is a well thought out story, a good narrative, and very imaginative.
I'm surprised that your number of hits at the time of this comment is only
in the 5000s. Please keep up the great work. I'm now very interested in the
marriage of Illustrator and Flash. I think I shall try a bit of that
myself. Thanks! - Derek
Wow, thats pretty fast compared to what I've been hearing from other
animators. Preproduction would entail the plot, character designs, BG's,
storyboards? It all looks really good! I was wondering how one would go
about animating something more complex such as something in anime style
with lots of composition.
This is quite honestly the best 2D animation I have EVER seen on Youtube,
especially the storyline, it was hilarious and well planned. I myself am an
animator in Flash, and I'm really looking forward to watching your
tutorials because you're a great animator! Props to you!
fantastic visuals....keep up the good work...lot of ppl know how to animate
but only a few know how to keep up the quality.... .. i have one question
though the electricity/lightning did not look like it was flash made .. [or
i could be wrong]......was it??
Hi. I made a really short video in flash (about 5 seconds long) and it took
20 minutes to upload to youtube, and I was wondering if you have had the
same problem and if you know a way to make the upload time shorter? Thanks,
and I love your video :D
I've shown this many times to my Digital Animation students. This is a
brilliant example of what you can achieve using Adobe Flash and deserves
WAY more hits than this. Also, thank you for the additional tutorials -
they have been a great help.
@Base14Productions Drawing with only a tablet probably takes some getting
used to. Best of luck on your next film and thanks for answering my
questions. Also, you should submit this to film festivals like The
Animation Show, etc.
@Base14Productions a year later and double the views :) guess you have to
have something really raunchy to get any traction on yt, this is more on
the cute side... but i love it all the same, really love the shadows/hair
bits
AN AMAZING CHARCTER ANIMATION! I love the little duck's personality! love
every part of it! I found it very hard to animate frame by frame! it takes
all of my patience and you makes it seem so easy! AMAZING WORK!
How long it takes ? and in 3:29 that machine was 3D or what ? :-O because
the camera goes like 3D ... this is really good keep going in it :) Its
like Happy Tree Friends ... i mean kind of it ....
wow man! Telll me which courses did you do in illustrator to learn to draw
this: i want to be a pro like you: Again i really am impressed by you: I
subscribed you and liked your video
Wow the effects animation on the lightning was amazing. How are you getting
motion blur here? Is it reelsmart? Or did you somehow set it up to use
after effects native motion blur?
hey i am dieing to become a animation producer on youtube. can you message
me what i might need and how to use them. that would really awesome. and
great video loved it so funny.
damn duck murdered that innocent bus driver and no one cares???she had a
family!a husband and two kids who now have no mother.it should be in jail
getting quacked in the quaker
That is honestly fucking amazing! This is all done in flash! I've worked in
flash but nothing like this! What program do you use to construct your
character models and such?!
These characters are two of my favorites and I would love to do more with
them! When and what is still unknown. I have several other movies I 'm
going to make before then.
@NonExistantPoet That's just your upload speed combined with server load,
dude. Purchase a faster connection and wait for times when site traffic
will be low.
Hey I dont suppose you could do a few more tutorials as to how you made
this? Like the Orange characters walk cycle? cheers :) btw LOVE this
animation hha

A few testers try their aim with the artillery in Gamma, assisted by the smoke trail alternate fire. The coil's death is not 100% done, shown here without any ...
@DarthNefatious Correct you are. Aside from the coil itself and the wall in

Tesla Wardenclyffe Magnifying Transmitter Tower Walkthrough 3d Animation by Leo Blanchette
This walkthrough of the tesla tower is just a draft. I plan to make a more detailed animation soon. I'd like to make a completely new tower, accurate, with even the ...
HOW ABOUT MAPPING DOWN STAIRS Tesla Wardenclyffe Records Secure Supplies
Wardenclyffe Foreclosure Proceedings, pp.177-179
Nikola Tesla for Defendant---Direct.
Mr. Tesla: Yes. You see the underground work is one of the most expensive
parts of the tower. In this system that I have invented it is necessary for
the machine to get a grip of the earth, otherwise it cannot shake the
earth. It has to have a grip on the earth so that the whole of this globe
can quiver, and to do that it is necessary to carry out a very expensive
construction. I had in fact invented special machines. But I want to say
this underground work belongs to the tower.
Q. Anything that was there, tell us about.
A. There was, as your Honor states, a big shaft about ten by twelve feet
goes down about one hundred and twenty feet and this was first covered with
timber and the inside with steel and in the center of this there was a
winding stairs going down and in the center of the stairs there was a big
shaft again through which the current was to pass, and this shaft was so
figured in order to tell exactly where the nodal point is, so that I could
calculate every point of distance. For instance I could calculate exactly
the size of the earth or the diameter of the earth and measure it exactly
within four feet with that machine.
Q. And that was a necessary appurtenance to your tower?
A. Absolutely necessary. And then the real expensive work was to connect
that central part with the earth, and there I had special machines rigged
up which would push the iron pipe, one length after another, and I pushed
these iron pipes, I think sixteen of them, three hundred feet, and then the
current through these pipes takes hold of the earth. Now that was a very
expensive part of the work, but it does not show on the tower, but it
belongs to the tower.
Q. Was the hole really one hundred and twenty feet deep. did you say?
A. Yes, you see the ground water on that place is about one hundred and
twenty feet. We are above the ground water about one hundred and twenty
feet. In the well we struck water at about eighty feet.
Q. What you call the main water table?
A. Yes, the main well we struck at eighty feet, but there we had to go
deeper.
Q. Tell the court generally, not in detail, the purpose of that tower and
the equipment which you have described connected with it?
A. Well, the primary purpose of the tower, your Honor, was to telephone, to
send the human voice and likeness around the globe.
Tesla, was not about to push the concept. He sold the idea originally to JP
Morgan under the premise of sending video and audio worldwide, and when
cornered this was still his reaction. Yet I know what his plan was. So did
Morgan. Probably you as well. To give the Entire World (all of Humanity)
free wireless electrical power forever. The big project of Wardenclyffe has
been "stamped out" trodded over, belittled to the point of my own personal
enragement. The Powers that be do not wish for this to become a reality.
Yet Tesla left us with a BETTER lead. He invented the Solar Array, and the
Bladeless Wind Turbine. Companies today are working on releasing Wireless
home power for the entire home from a Transmitter, and with the adoption of
Hydrogen Storage, YOU and I can become 100% totally independent of these
scoundrels that stopped our friend Nikola Tesla, and make "Individual Free
Energy and Independence" a reality.

Do you know how is the wardenclyffe under the antenna? I read many
speculations but I never seen the plans. One time I read that there were a
liquid oxigen tank as electrode but maybe is just false. There must be some
part hidden under the ground and It would be really interesting to know. I
studied industrial robotics and Im doing the same research but in some
different way, bcz Im trying to make experiments about the shape of waves
like the acoustic levitation.
@mailhoax. Dude i realy try to figure out the same thing as you do. Every
day research results in almost nothing. I only found a litte documentary lr
something of someone named Harun Yahya. If you youtube it you'll find it.
Take a look on it maybe it will give you a little idea. It's just a very
little part of the clip. But i'm convinced that sir Tesla used the same
technologies as the egypten folks used.
@Milos34000 I tried to give you a link to some good reference material, but
it appears youtube is not letting me post a link! Search this in google:

@coasterchris01 The MMC is currently made up of big GTO snubber caps 4uF
630Vac a piece 12s4p config. This coil runs at insanely high on times and
rep-rates so I need quite a lot of RMS current. This MMC supports up to
280A rms and 14kA peak. The bridge can deliver 1400Vpp at over 7kA In the
vid the coil is limited to 3.0kA. Doing groundstrikes it still managed to
get to 3.5kA because it has to be turned of on a zero cross
@Dalus01 Is there somewhere I can read about the build of the coil? I have
built a old fashioned spark gap TC en started on a solid state version but
never finished it. After seeing the project at TU/e my enthusiasm has been
sparked again! ;) What sort of caps are use in the MMC bank?
@NiceCraft: Het eerste deel van het liedje is "In the hall of the mountain
@crazeman5522 Funny thing is that we where just randomly testing songs. And
found these parts most suitable for a medley. MMC is running cool now and
able to provide full power once more. Just the chokes I use heat up rapidly.
