Hi Johnny,Thanks for viewing my video. The first thing I would do is look inside the center console and remove the fasteners necessary to gain access to the switch. I would use a jumper wire across the terminals to verify whether it's the switch that is bad. If the switch turns out to be good, then go to the actual release. Verify you have power going to the release mechanism. Finally if things are good this far, it's time to buy a new release. You will need to jack the vehicle up and remove the driver's side wheel. Support the vehicle properly with whatever you decide (safety first!). Remove the wheel well liner by popping out those plastic fasteners. This should give you the access you need to remove and replace the fuel door release. As always, after testing and before beginning any repairs, remove the negative cable from the battery. And as a general rule, always be extremely careful when working with a wheel removed. These cars are very low to the ground and can easily crush you to death. I'm not a mechanic and I'm only telling you what I would do. Your best move might be to take it to a repair shop.
Is there an issue with getting the emission nozzles in CA through the door
opening since they have those black "things" on the nozzle? Really
interested in purchasing one of these if there isn't going to be a problem.
I have the exact same car, thanks for this idea and your videos. I have
added a black AMR wheel package, now runnin' 19" wheels, 245/275's. Also
added the red MGP caliper covers, and black 5.0 emblems. Runnin' Borla
S-type axel backs. Want to replace the rear decklid with the CDC lid and
put a similarity front grill as you have. Obviously going black with no
chrome. But the MGP's give it a real nice look.
Do you have a video of how you did the plastic dip , I have a 2013 lime
green 5.0 and I'm trying to take out all the chrome out of it just leave it
black and green , just to scared to miss with it I barley got the The car ,
but those are a beastt , I also love the advance traction control in them
Plasti Dip is always fun stuff to use. It gets annoying when the old guys
hate for us taking rattlecans to our cars lol. I did this to my chrome
wheels because the chrome was starting to chip off and bubble. Looks great
againt torch red paint
Maybe you should make a video on how to vacum your trunk, or how to paint
your trunk compartment. Actually the gas cap looked fine, other than
needing a new car on it.

How to Replace the Cap & Rotor on a 1991 Chevrolet Corvette C4 L-98
In this video I show the basic steps on replacing the cap and rotor on my brother in law's 1991 Corvette with the L98 V8 motor. This is for the corvette enthusiasts ...
Delco Remy, if I remember correctly according to the Tom Falconer book on
the C4 those were typically replaced by something else latter in life. and
I remember him scoffing at the placement of it I think.
as look how close it is to the rubber seal between the windshield and the
engine there.
