no offense seem like a really nice guy but a French guy driving a C7 is like a poodle operating a 50 cal machine gun... it just looks wrong.

@ComissarGramsci Typical C6 issues include oil pan and front seal leaks, worn driver seat bolsters, worn start buttons, faded headlights and front emblems, broken visor mirrors, curbed wheels, worn tires, broken ashtrays, cupholders, and center console latches, glovebox latches, and kicked-in door speakers. Mostly cosmetic stuff really; they're pretty reliable mechanically.

There were 5 shades of Red on the 05; Torch, which is the bright red, (only 1 made in this color); Magnetic Red Metallic, which is this car's color; Victory Red, which is a slightly deeper red than Torch; Precision Red which was replaced by Victory Red; and Monterrey Red Metallic, which is a bit darker than Magnetic Red Metallic.

hey thanks alot man, unfortanetly im from laredo and my vette is on dallas due to the thunderstorm. its coming from arkansa and made a stop at dallas. so it should get here tommorow. is this corvette here metallic red?? there is also victor red? the sales man told me its metallic red i wonder if its this color

thanks, the car i got is exactly this color haha. well the only difference is the rear exhaust. they are bigger. so it gives a bigger roar. the inside is cash smere or however u spell it. i was thrilled when i first drove it. i was paranoid that someone was gonna hit me or something.

i bought an '05 2 days ago it has 30k in mods, it has 540 hp, touch screen gps, and a ton of cool features the fact that i got it for only 33,000, makes me even happer with it

@oldfarts3 Nope....no navigation in this car. No factory Corvette sound system lets you actually play DVD movies though.

Depends how much you put down. General rule of thumb is about $17 per $1000 you paid for the car or so.

Wow, yes that is RARE but I am a manual transmission guy, I could not imagine driving a Corvette in D all day long-- still that car is a showpiece-- do you know the price? I would think over a 100k

Interesting shift pattern on auto trans...surprised to see the fueley engine mated to the power-glide...must be ultra rare. Great camera work

I think there were only about 284 built with fuel injection and a powerglide, so it's definitely rare. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it!

Nice! You got to ask yourself.. Why no fuel injection on other vehicles any sooner than we saw it available?? Gas was so cheap!!!!

But,, fuel injection does not help performance on every car!!! Some are just dogs from the factory! Keep up the good work!!

Yeah, fuel economy wasn't much of a concern at the time. Fuel injection was added to these cars purely in an effort to improve performance.

+da kins 93 late c3 vettes that came with the l82 are considered a stingray. regular c3's had a l48. i used to say the same thing. the 79 had 2 flags where as my 79 just had stingray on the side. i think my 79 was modded as well it had the corvette dark green and red leather interior. too bad it was stolen.

What kind of cars are you driving? I woulld like to know what cars are not making it past 150k? So when a car gets to 100k you should junk it? Here is my current fleet 2005 Volvo S60R 175k miles, 1999 Jeep Cherokee Classic 178k, 1986 Audi 5000 302k. I am in the car business and never think about miles!
