Im just stating what several sites have said. And yes there is a 10.9 gtr, its the alpha. But ive watch many documentarys that compare all the cars of that class. Mainly comparing gtr, zr1, porche 911, and ferrari 439 i think. Dont know much of ferrari. But zr1 came on top at in the 1/4 mile stretch. Gtr destroyed them at first with its launch control, very impressive. And I appoligize for the insult, i figured you were one of those unintelligent rice burner fans. Lots of them on youtube.

Gonna make 1,200 horsepower stock-ish parts like no turbochargers or superchargers or pro-chargers. So, if twin turbochargers... gonna need biggest two turbochargers on two largest exhaust headers. Oh, yeah. Gonna need 8 speed manual transmission. Not auto or semi trans. They are gay and heavy.

A stock ZR1 with slicks would probably take a tuned GT-R from a dig and Nissan voids warranties left and right with these cars. A friend of mine already has to get a new tranny in his GT-R with 10,000 miles on it and he is stock. And they are trying to pull the "abuse" card on a car designed to race. @Morgenstern2012 I do not agree with you at all. If you watch a lot af these Russian vids most of the drivers don't even wear helmets while they race. What kind of pro driver would do that? Like I said NO CREDIBILITY. Speaking of six cylinders, I have a 86 Buick Grand National that will give you all the credibility you will ever need. I call BS on those power figures. If that vette really had 670hp @ 33-3400lbs vs the GT-R's 560hp @ 3800+ , the vette should have reeled it in hard. The GT-R has more, like the factory power rating, about 450-ish at the wheels, it's got much more than 480 stock to put that down thru AWD. Even the most efficient AWD systems loose around 18-20% with would put down around 390 at the wheels w/480 at the crank.

That means you never knows about 2002-2004 Lingenfelter Corvette Z06, Lingenfelter 2005-2012 Corvette Z06, and 2007 & 2008 Ultimate Aero that can reach 300 mph. Because Corvette Z06 are mostly stock because they are already faster than Dodge Viper and Nissan GTR. With upgrades, Corvette Z06 can ruin the Texas Mile. Period.

@ChrisChevyCamaro2000 Nissan GTR can't reach to 230 mph. Bugatti Veyron can't reach 270. Really close, 267 or 268 mph... but, never heard that Bugatti Veyron can reach over 270 mph. Because of weights and 16 cylinders engine. Over 12 cylinders really can't reach over 270 mph. Only USA V8 engines can reach 300 mph. Lingenfelter Corvette Z06 TT and Ultimate Aero TT.

Any true car enthusiast know this race isn't true. 670hp that's lighter and the gtr has 100+ hp less and heavier. The vette had some malfunctions definitely. The vette is much quicker from takeoff. It wouldn't beat a stock vette that much do forget a modified vette. A nowayer here.

So you're proud an AWD car gets a big lead from the start which it should, but gets ran down by the car that had 50 less hp, and it's trap speed was a lot higher. Meaning, the Z06 was a faster car, and the longer the race, the farther back the GTR will fall. I can build a 2000hp 2008 Z06 for less money than you can buy a base priced GTR. Around 75k. While the AMS GTR builds for the Alpha 12 starts at 222k for car+mods. And the Alpha Omega starts at $260k. Brag up what you cannot afford. lol

Yeah, and the fastest GTR on the planet has a different motor, transmission, AWD system controller, turbos, differentials, drive line, fuel system, boost controller, etc, etc, etc. I don't lose anything....the faster car is the Corvettes. Stock or Modified. The only thing a GTR can win is 0-60. The fastest quarter mile for a stock ZR1 is 10.6. (10.3 on DRs) The Fastest quarter mile for a stock Z06 is 10.9. And that isn't a street legal GTR, you clown.

Ferrari has history yes but that is changing with cars like the GTR and ZR1 coming out and blitzing all these so called super cars. Mate your talking shit, Audi has the r8 but people use the RS models because you cant tune N/A Audi engines unless you spend BIG money, it takes a fully tuned Twin Turbo RS6 with 750bhp and the Vette still SMOKED it, look at the launch on the AWD Audi and the vette still beat it with less power. Thats bullshit, yeah the Audi is heavier but its not all about straight line.... Audis handle like shit and ALSO the Audi had 50bhp more AND probably cost twice as much, also when it comes to tuned cars you cant say which is faster, but the stock zr1 is faster then any stock porsche and costs less and in my opinion looks better, the GTR i agree is a better but i still prefer the looks of the Vette, if it was my money though i would probably buy a GTR although id choose a Vette over a Porsche

RS6 got 50hp more, but the Z06 weight 1000lbs less I don't think that 50hp more at the level it will make any big different but 1000lbs of weight more it do. I can that for personal reason on a audi the I run 13.90s with stock weight, the next week I when with more that 400lbs of weight less and run 13.43 best and 13.62 worst. weight reduction all the AC components off, spare tire and tools, carpet, radio,wires and speakers, back seat, back doors panel and all panels on the trunk.

Of course Ferrari can make a fast car, theres no questioning that, but not for the same price as Corvette and not to the same reliability as a Corvette. Corvette engine would arguably be one of the most reliable engines in the world. 599xx is 1.2 million pounds man as is not driven on roads. Could you imagine spending 1.1 million pounds on a Corvette? To me Ferrari's are a beautiful car and well made but you pay farrrr to much for what you are getting.

audi isnt fucking made for racing yet you see this audi killing lighter sports cars at this event. also it cost more because its made better its not a pos plastic midlife crises. stock zr1 cant beat a stock turbo let alone the s model in a straight line or a gt2/3 let alone the rs models of those on the track. that is a HORRIBLE decision to choose a low quality slow vette over the engineering perfection that is porsche. gtr and 911>zr1

Motor Trend shows that a 2012 Z06 currently holds a lap time of 1:34 at Laguna Seca Raceway. That is 2 whole seconds faster than Nissan GTRs (Both Standard and Black Edition) 1:36 lap time. Last time I checked, 2 seconds around a track is a pretty big gap. Plus you have to worry about the GTRs massive weight and awd roasting it's tires and brakes much more quickly than the Corvette's light rwd platform

i think it depends on the person.... corvette cost less than the porsche and as far as the gtr, ( all cars im talking about-bone stock) corvette zr1 kills it at track... even the z06 beats it at track... at the drag i think the z06 and zr1 will win the mile vs the gtr. not saying the vette is better than the gtr or porsche, im saying the cars have their ups and downs.

@Alexgotnicebody As for interior, Ferrari wins hands down thats for sure, but you dont buy a true sports car ( Corvette ) for its interior. Ferrari to me was #1 a decade ago but not any more, same as porche etc, theres just far better options and performance these days for a 10th of the price.
