The whole game long.Max Payne may be one depressing dude but at least you get to kill bad guys and people you hate. That's something that can calm you down. Ethan on the other hand has nothing of that. He just has to bend over for the whole freaking game. You have to admit, that's some really depressing shit. More depressing than a guy who at least has moments in between where he can be a badass killing machine.but then again: I never played a Max Payne game so I don't know about the feeling of it.

You started with MGS 4? Wow, ok... Not the best choice you could have possibly made. Did you still understand the story? MGS 4 isn't a great starting point. Playing the first three games is required if you want to fully immerse yourself and understand the story.
