I had some of my joints measured... 52 measurements or so and only 4-9 were
"Normal." About 43-48 measurements were "Abnormal" Ranges of Motion. Some
went 2-3 times further than the maximum measurement to be "Normal." I
believe the Range of Motion for my Ankle (Plantarflexion) was 132° for my
right and 162° for my left... I guess that's what the SSA considers to be
"Normal"...
"Normal range of motion?!" Perhaps if you showed them The Beighton Scale
they would understand? A skin biopsy would also likely indicate abnormal
collagen and give something more concrete to fight with. All of us
