An aircheck of "The Bob Butler Show" from a stormy afternoon in 1975. I don't have an exact date, but a news archive search indicates a severe storm moved ...
This is great stuff...date is certainly Monday March 24, 1975. The news
broadcast makes reference to tornadoes earlier in the day in Atlanta (these
have become known as the Governors Tornadoes in Georgia), and a fire at Sox
and Martin Drag Team in Burlington on Saturday- this was on the night of
Saturday March 22. Lastly, an ad refers to a play at Meredith College
"tomorrow and Wednesday", so this broadcast was on a Monday. Thanks from a

This is a great capture..Thank you for taking the time & effort to share
this for us lifelong WPTF fans...

this storm was insane. I live in berks county and it was the first time in
my life that i ever took cover from a tornado warning. we got green skies,
dime-sized hail and winds that were swirling around the house. it was
awesome!
I remember this. I was at home in Southern New York and the storm started
pooling down, and the worst is the I had to a freaking math survey during
that crap. :/
omg i was listening to the radio when the warning came on that a tornado
touched the ground, i was like HOLY SHIT! IN PA!? lol its like barely ever
happening...
