I have made this 3 times already and it comes out so god every time. My
mom, dad, sister, brother-in-law, nephew and best friend love it!!! I use
all the ingredient you say, with just one difference - I prepare it in the
oven. I like that crunchy taste with no additional fat added. So my
question is - what sauce can I add to serve it with? I would like to dip it
in something! :) Maybe you could make a video on that as well in the
future. Thank you for what you are doing!!! :)
This is my first Moroccan recipe I m trying . I have to tell you you
inspired me completely. You make everything so simple. I used to think that
Moroccan and Middle Eastern dishes are very complicated, so I would eat
them only out. And I would not cook red meats myself anyway, I thought it
is too messy. I have not cooked red meat in 4 years. I would cook just
vegetarian, poultry, fish or seafood. Anyway, I just made your recipe and
it came out amazing. I absolutely love it.
two questions: 1)that grill plate is very nice!where did you find it? 2)i
confess: i have never eaten lamb/sheep/goat meat. Do you grind your
own?does freshness matter?what should it smell like when opening the
package, and when you cook it? thank you, alia!
@bright2light I am so glad that you enjoyed the recipe! your comment really
made me happy because my goal is to simplify and demystify Moroccan cuisine
- it does not have to be that complicated and you just proved me right!
thank you!
@practicalmagic9 1- got it from Target 2- I just go to the butcher and ask
him to get me a piece and grind it. It's very similar to beef but more
tender
OMG! ive been searching for that song starting at 2:00 for years! my dad
use to play that on the guitar until he past away. PLEASE tell me what the
song tittle is, i would really appreciate it! i think this is my destiny,
learning to cook giniling and identifying the song. PLEASE!! it would mean
so much to me
Hi matrhia, Thanks for the great acknowledgement and trust. Carrot is a
great option but most "ginilings" are not mixed with carrot. Kindly pass
this information to your family and friends. We have to let the world that
Filipino dishes are worth cooking! Ingat...

Hi marcrdicay, That is really the purpose of why JUAN's PUTAHEs came into
existence. Kindly watch all the other videos and you will surely enjoy and
learn from them. Thanks for the comment.
i finaly learnd how to cook giniling! really important question, wats the
name of the song starting at 2:00? my dad use to keep playing that until he
past away, i would realy appreciate it!
Hi dmegami, Nice question. You don't have to pour lots of grease in your
cuisine. In fact, there is oil coming out from the ground meat itself even
if it is lean. Thanks for the comment.
Hello po, tanung ko lang kung ilan tablespoon po ba ilalagay ng soysauce,
vinegar, and salt? Nedd ko lang po ng exact measure. Magluluto po ako
ngayon. Salamat po sa magandang video.
Hi jcxb102, Thanks for the acknowledgement. You are one of the reasons why
JUAN's PUTAHEs was created in the first place, to teach the whole world to
cook. More power also to you!
Hi.. i have no questions about the cooking. Great video by the way! Many
people are asking the name of the song starting at 2:00. The song name is
called Romanza. cheers!

Thanks man! I tried putting tomato paste in mine and it taste a little bit
like Spaghetti sauce! Nothing wrong with it though, it just adds a bit of
colouring to it.
Can you indicate how long it needs to simmer or any indication that
Giniling is good to go... sorry, I'm so new to cooking. I only rely on
YouTube instructions :)
