I mean people cosplay a soldier so what? Isn't that the largest compliment? To mimic, copy and perpetrate? So what. A soldier is no more important than the next man or woman. Why? Because it was not forced. It's not a test or a challenge to join the military. It is a choice! You get no pity or extra respects because you join the military. I am not trying to disregard or disrespect. I am very thankful for every Veteran. Considering every soldier I know personally and what drove them to join in the first place was not for honor or to risk their life for the country but more along the lines they had no idea what to do in life and what better than being told what to do all over again when you leave your parents. Good job son! Then they go and buy a house with a bill while those they serve and protect have a harder time without the equal benefit. Makes no sense. Though it's the citizen who pays taxes that pays the soldier and their benefits. Good job soldiers but you get no extra applaud or podium strength. Because when you need attention like that then you did it not for honor but for charity and vanity. You get hurt in the battle that sucks. I get hurt on the job.. that sucks too. We are all brothers and sisters. Let's act like it. Equally.

+MacNifty Did you ever think that people join the military because that is their only option to get an education? What are the costs of tuition? That is how they "snag" people. Recruiters show up on career day, at graduation, and stand outside of Walmart in the poorer neighborhoods. Big promises, education, and a chance to "travel" That would sound good to me if I was dirt poor with no future. Yea, they take advantage of the poor and the young adults struggling at their lessons, falling through the cracks. How many people Harvard Law students do you see with a uniform on?
