+AR1G3 I'd like to know how long these cars last after they have been built, as you say, they cut bits out, never protect the pieces, and also cut pieces of the chassis away, which must make the car illegal. I would never drive one of these cars at speed, in one show they managed to over heat the engine, and blamed it on a duff oil pump, it looked to me as if it was lack of oil, because of the way they drove it, it should have had a modified sump, to increase oil circulation. I have a few years experience in cars (40) so I do think this was the real problem

+AR1G3 These cars are going to rust to pieces within a couple of months :( No proper treatment of the metal , welding over dirty pieces , Im not even involved in this field and I can tell that this is a disaster .

+VimanaPilot if you watch all their stuff you'll see a lot of shoddy work. Also, the welding of panels over other panels is crazy. You should never have a sealed hollow section on a car. And if you have hollow sections you have to treat them properly.

I still don't see a problem if they're certified welds, also they're customers have to know they're not getting a factory certified car, they are getting a chopped car, and though they may not show it on the video, I'm sure they went over any safety concerns with the customer.

+VimanaPilot they did compromise the frame in several of their cars. On a unibody frame you can't chop off the c pillars and weld them on a few more inches to the front, just to give an example.

+AR1G3 I didn't see them compromise any of the car's frame except for the roof. The rest of it was all skin reworking, leaving the original frame in tact. 

+VimanaPilot it's not because I think what they're doing is a crime that I don't have a vision. An engineer doesn't only need vision, he also needs to see all the potential problems. Actually that's fhe most important thing in engineering, seeing all the potential problems of your idea and working around them.
