Already being a victim of premature inner tire wear from lowering my car, i had to find a solution quick. The stock ISF has no camber adjustment and not enough ...
@SHADOWMONK3Y why are you trying to tell me something that everyone already
knows? When you say "cambered" you werernt talking about 1.5 or 2 degree's
for better traction, you were talking about that gay ass 10 degree's of
camber that all the little boys think is cool. FYI, since you are trying to
be smart, there is .9 degrees of camber on my rears. They are just right.
NO tire wear and plenty of grip. If i start tracking this car, which i
probably wont do to much, i can adjust it.
Hey Steve I was wondering if there is anyway you could send me some free
stickers I'm 15 and love car audio I home I can have a business that grows
like yours one day and I comment on your videos and you really never reply
much but I understand that your probably one busy guy...anyways just really
wanting some stickers -please reply
@lsvtec Unhuh... This is why the Stock LC's were stamped steel.... It rides
good stock but by no means is it great..., My 98 caddi STS Floats down the
road but the suspensions is caveman simple but if drove in anyway sportie I
could Point out varying weakness. The same can be said with the stock ISF
Suspension...
Man I know this is out of nowhere but I have a serious? Y dnt u build up
that sweet civic drop a gsr or a k20 6speed swap in it boost it then race
ur ISF wit it comment tell me wat u think I know its low end compared 2 da
ISF but still fun 2 drive gotta admit got a crx myself
@SHADOWMONK3Y ohhhhh you are the guy with the CRX........sorry bro but i
highly doubt cambering your 108 hp, front wheel drive honda, is going to
help anything LOL - so please dont worry about what i got going on, worry
about your own ride. Thanks.
Lol kinda ur isf is bad ass n jus wntd an opinion lol but 4 a guy like u in
all seriousness y not trade ur isf 4 a new nissan GTR awd 400+ hp very
sweet ride u own high caliber cars y not ? Unless its price then in that
case totally understand lol
Dude, I got my new is350 lowered on coils with a front spc adjustable ball
joint and megan links in the rear. The megan links are fine but the spc
ball joint is coming unlocked and will not bolt down. Any suggestions for
the camber in the front?
@meade916 cambering rear tires adds traction when u corner, about -1.5 to
-2 adds tractions when ur rear tires corner the amount of rubber to ashpalt
is changing and camber helps keep as much tire on the road for more grip.
@meade916 True, I know how that goes. But I also know how much tires cost
as well, and i'm sure you do too! How bad was the premature wear? I ran
around with -5 deg camber in the front on my car for awhile, big mistake...
@crippenfalyfe gotta mix em up bro.......people bitch when i dont do enough
bass vids and they bitch when i do to many. LOL :D I just do what i do and
hope you guys like it. All i can do is hope. :D
@meade916 dont you love how people say "whats next bigger calipers" when in
reality the brakes on that cars are perfect for the car! lol shit so whats
next steve"a lift kit with 44" boggers"? lol
@meade916 Oh i know! I have a Cup kit in my jetta that adds a little flair
to the underside and only me and mechanics can see it. I suppose its more
what you feel then it is what you see! haha!
Hey bro, i just got an is250, and i dig those videos of your is-f and late
is250. I was planning to drop my with the road magnets, do you think it
would be reasonable to add those figs on it?
@SHADOWMONK3Y everyone has their taste, no matter how bad it is. 10 degrees
lol what kind of a clown does that to his car. So dumb. How does camber add
traction on your front wheel drive crx?
@lsvtec sure its a great stock suspension, if you plan on leaving your car
stock height. My grandmother likes here cars at stock height so she
probably wouldn't mess with it either.
@meade916 im a fan of super slammed pebble scraping cars with like 10
degrees of negative camber, will i ever go that extreme? no. i camber for
added traction at auto x. thats all.
Hi Steve! When are we going to see some love for the little guy's civic?
Best looking and functional IS-F on youtube! Any carbon fiber upgrades
(trunk or hood) in the near future?
dude that is one sexy ride man! one of these days i hope i can work hard
enough to own nice rides like you have. i mean you work hard for what you
got! keep it up man
@meade916 yeah true.. but do you think lexus would make a nice car like
that and skip out and put shitty brakes on it? some people need to think
before they type..

Camber is incredibly useful if used sparingly, it will increase stability while cornering, its when you take it too far that it just ruins the car completely
My question is, when and where the hell do you ever have purpose for and
extreme camber? I can see a slight camber being a huge benefit handling
wise on a FWD car, when the cornering gets intense, if the car lifts up in
the back, you get a bit of extra traction. it compensates for a bit of lost
grip. But, the extreme angles are quite literally retarded and illogical.
These cars would have to be off the ground for the wheels to flatten out at
all. To me, it looks like you busted a control-arm in a wreck and kept on
driving. I don't see the appeal in it at all, and it makes your driving
life a living hell, plus the tires only wearing on half of the
tread-pattern XD
+Pericles Underhill Ehh purpose?... I wouldn't assume they used "brainz" when they did this. Other then the reasons you mentioned, these people have no reason for destroying their car's ride mechanics other than "Itz soo kewl brah".And yeah, looks like a PITA to drive around the city. Plus getting mocked and laughed at by anyone with an IQ over 80.
I'm questioning why anyone would want to do it at all?
It looks ridiculous, handling will be terrible, ride will be terrible,
stability will be terrible, tire lifespan will be short, acceleration
traction will be terrible, braking traction will be terrible. Rain? forget
it. Snow and ice? Don't go there.
Just what is being gained by doing this, other than ruining a car, and
making people laugh at you.
+LakeNipissing It's a trade off. The only gain is a slight cornering advantage at the loss of braking and accelerating performance. Trick is to find your sweet spot, a balance for the conditions you drive.
+Patrick Star Wat?... " straight line a bit of the tire doesn't touch the ground , so it doesn't wear out as quickly." No, it just wears the CURRENT CONTACT PATCH down at an accelerated rate. Which put more weight on the sidewall, something not really even meant for load-bearing/wear to begin with. 1/2 the contact patch = 2x the forces on the remaining contact patch (depending on degree of the setup).
If you add like 1 or 2 degrees of negative camber it can prolong tire grip and life because when you're going in a straight line a bit of the tire doesn't touch the ground , so it doesn't wear out as quickly. Basically the cambered tires aren't touching the road in a straight line but are in a corner.
wow that camber gauge is awesome, my car got squished between a laundry
machine leaving both rear wheels toe'd in but the left rear was the worst,
it drove like crap, cool very informational vid.
