make sure the ribbons clip & nor is cleaned and a way to have pressure applied to the nor clip to the nor. sometimes its due to a hdd speed, when you turn the ps3 on and the orange light still flashes it interrupts the e3 from reading. sometimes it will be better to take the hdd out and wait for the ps3 to start and say no hdd found or correct disk in not there. after that try and see if the e3 will backup. if again it all fails then most likely a new ribbon is needed these ribbons are fragil

they would be able to if it was not written with a different security code called melt.v2. and more, look kid i been doing this for over a 3 years and have tried and i do own a 3000 model. you can not hack it. go ahead and get it and try your self but when you brick it because of security code do not bug me to about fixing it. i told you its in all my descriptions, go find a older slim if you want to be able to hax a ps3,or buy a refurbished PS3 hacked from my ebay

the super slim is CECH-400xx the last model version of first gen slim is CECH-300xx firsrt gen slims come in usa as CECH-2001a,b,, 2101a, 2501a,b 3001a only one version of super slim as far as i know its CECH-4001a in USA. could be 4002 or 4003 in other countrys. these two models are not compatible to downgrade due to diffrent coding to prevent downgrades. only 250xx models and below are downgradeable.

if you have a slim cut the top part of the hdd section to be able to run the ribbon above with out damaging it. just put the hdd in the spot then lay the e3 flasher on top of it all plugged up. the e3 flasher is powered by the nor memory not the hdd slot. a reason could be the e3 has a damaged pin for the hdd or the hdd is not powered from the station its in?

you need more than a e3 flasher, you will still need a dongle to toggle factory mode, and the lv2diag that lets you downgrade with the memory / nor rewritten. there on the main page for ps3 mods at the top there is a threadthat has the original e3 - 3.55 downgrading method. just get it all from there.

the console is a 200x model . only thing i am trying to prove is that you can downgrade to 4.30 cfw instead of 3.55. only consoles stopping downgrades are 3000x and 4000x models due to metldr2. but i know 300x model still allows you to do a back up and rewrite to the nor with original back up.

Alright i have a ps3 CECH L , it has red screen i have tried everything i can, all options on recovery menu including update, tried a new hdd, nothing, keeps going to red screen is there any way i can sort this out, i cant get hold of an e3 flasher and dont know how to use them anyway

NO do not use my bkpps3.bin, that was not meant to be in the download. the only thing your doing different is switching the PS3UPDAT.PUP from the original way of downgrading to the 4.30 rogero 4.03 or 4.05. everything else is nothing more but to make sure YOUR OWN BACK UP IS GOOD.

do you see anythign in the video saying its a 3000 model? the only thing this video was for was to prove that you can downgrade to 4.30 cfw rogero not ever getting on 3.55. this will support the 250x models that can not downgrade to 3.55, that do not have a metldr 2 file.

ok i bought an E3 flasher i installed it how it have to be , but when i start my ps3 i got an error that my hdd is not found , but when i remove that little card with leds and buttons and i just plug the sata cable in my ps3 boot like normaly. whats the cause ?

Okay so I have OFW 4.30 on my PS3 Slim. I know it's hackable because it was made on July 2009 CECH-2001A, I'm currently saving up money to get a E3 Flasher, so can you link me to a 4.30OFW to 3.55CFW from rogero when I get the flasher? thanks in advance

model used is a 200x model, i tried this on a 3000x and did not work because it has a diffrent metldr file which is not called metldr 2 300x - 4000x models. e3 can work on newer slim , we just need some one to crack the metldr 2 to be bale to modify it

Buenas Cristian laboto, necesito un gran favor estoy asiendo todo lo que sale en el video, descargue el archivo PS3UPDAT.PUP, que es el jailbreak. CREE una carpeta PS3 + UPDATE y dentro de esa el archivo, todo hiba bien pero al momento que termina el 100% de la primera parte, al reiniciar me sale LOS DATOS ESTAN DAÑADOS. (8002F15E) pulse boton PS para usar el mando. Gracias ojala me puedas ayudar necesito colocarle juegos a la ps3 en el disco gracias

porque si instalas desde un dispositivo externo estas "donwloading update data"...parece como si estuvieras descargando en ese momento la actualización oficial..a los 2:53 demuestras que estas en linea no creo que hagas una hackeada mientras estés on line y roguero tiene su marca al encender la ps3 es decir cuando inicias una ps3 con roguero sale el logo y a ti no te salio....

Saludos Yo tengo en mi ps3 la versión oficial 4.20 o 4.21,no lo recuerdo ahora pero es la oficial y nunca la he liberado.Mi duda es si este archivo PS3UPDATE.PUP me vale.Es que lo he instalado y me dice que los datos están dañados.Eso me sale con la descarga JAILBREAK 4.20 + 4.21. Gracias.

hola si funciona y para leer juegos tienes que descargarte barios programas y lo que ases o bien telo descargas de internet o copiarlo directamente que es lo que yo hago yo cogia los alquilaba los copiaba en un disco duro externo de 1tb y ya los tenia para siempre un saludo

el jailbreak dura hasta que actualizes tu PS3 a la ultima version, los juegos los puedes seguir usando, pero no online hasta que salga jail de la version mas nueva. yo te diria que probaras esto y si no te gusta lo actualizas y se va.
