Great video hun, my daughter is incoming freshman 2014. She will be staying
in Tiger Place. Is that a nice dorm? Also I see you have the dresser where
you put your tv on, does that come standard with all dorms or do we have to
buy her one?

The beds in tiger place don't require bed risers. You can adjust the height of the bed to your liking. Tiger place dorms are set up the same way as my room was setup in Richard wright. It's all the same concept. But unfortunately, no there is no door, but can put a curtain and shower rod to make it semi private! & Aww! I've heard of Campbell high I went to pope high school in Marietta! If you've heard of it. Lol. But I wish her the best of luck at savannah state!

Thanks Doll. OK here I am with another question.... are they allowed to use bed risers? So that she can store items under her bed? Do you know if I can see a photo of what Tiger place dorms look like? I need a layout at the very least. We are like you guys and love to decorate and make it feel very home like, so we need to see what it is like. I understand all the rules in terms of decorating but we at least want to see the amount of space she'll be in. Also do you know if there will be a door separating her and room mate area? We don't mind hanging a curtain for privacy too but we want it to be cute and need to plan ahead. We are also in atlanta like you (she graduated from campbell high), and have yet made it down to SSU... we will see it on move in date the 13th. Yikes.

You welcome! I'm just trying to put out there as much info as I can because I know how it is and there weren't many videos out there when I was coming in as a freshmen. But yes Savannah State definitely does have to do better when it comes to helping out their future tigers.

Thanks so much. We look at your videos all the time, soaking in all the info. I will have more questions I'm sure. You're better than the admissions/ financial aid/ housing office, they answer NO questions. Yikes!

Yes, they have a bathroom in their room. & you can ask as many questions as you want, I know how it is coming in as a freshmen.

The dresser comes standard with all dorm rooms & yes tiger place is one of the BEST dorms for freshmen
