United Airlines Boeing 777-222ER Flight 885 - San Francisco to Kansai
Flight from San Francisco International Airport to Osaka Kansai International Airport at the beginning of summer, on board a United B777-222ER. The flight time ...
Hey thanks a lot. That was the first time I got to fly in a NC United
aircraft, in the 10+ years I've been flying with United. I've also flown
the same route a number of times in the early 90's on a United OC 747-200.
Cheers.
5* man your lucky you got on the 777 NC lol in the summer i done
LHR-SFO-LHR all 777s man both ways old coulrs and plane!:L the one thing i
hate bout united =/ great video anyway :D
This was a United Airlines / All Nippon Airways codeshare flight. The
purser on board the aircraft spoke both Japanese as well as accented
English, as you heard in the video.
Nope, that's the feedback noise that my camera's video mode unfortunately
has. If it sounded like that in actuality for the entire flight, it'd be
unbearable indeed! lol
Eps.4 Cathay Pacific CX873 flight from San Francisco to Hong Kong (business class)
Please spare some of your time to fill the following survey www.surveymonkey.com/s/2N8H8M3 My 4th constitutive upgrade trip from SFO to HKG. I purchased a ...
I will be on this plane next month on February 12th going to manila! Looks
like a light flight going to hk. Are flights usually light around January
or February going to Hong Kong?
+Be CooL as far as i checked when I'm on their flights not but all of their fleets have person tvs that would last you pretty much a week or 2 depending on how much you sleep
Because of arrival patterns that morning. They landed on 07 (towards the East) but were tracking in from the opposite direction towards the West. About 20km from the airport they would have banked left to the South then West parallel to the runway again then banking right in a U-turn towards the East for landing. They use that pattern at Sydney all the time. There would have been a long line of aircraft from all over the place in front and behind on the same track, so ATC line them up well before the airport, and the landmark for lining the up was likely the southern tip of Taiwan. That's my guess anyway!
We decided to take the Dreamliner next summer to our destination. We are
sitting business class and I'm checking my luggage. I am not really one to
check luggage though but I am this time.
+Sabe2424Cp The trip to Osaka was the first time we had a chance to fly on the Dreamliner but we are scheduled to fly the Dreamliner again in February for a visit to Japan's winter festivals.
+Corn Fed +sfflyer123 sfflyer does a fantastic job and I'll try to remember to do all the food because it really is an afterthought. My own bias is the "snack" is so disgusting most times that I hate to order it. Best regards, Sheila
+Sheila Simkin You need to highlight the food WAY more. It's almost an afterthought in your vidoes. Watch SFFLYER's videos to see how it's properly done. ALL food is worth video'ing.
Most of the time, I don't bother with the pre-arrival snack; not hungry at all and not the most exciting (or tasty) snack on United. However, I did order the noodles and they were awful; not worthy of video'ing.
Hi Sheila, great video as always. That 787 is a beauty, isn't it? You
might want to plan LAX-MEL (Melbourne Australia) with the 787-900 that
United starts flying in October. That will be 15 hours Non-Stop from LAX.
The food selections sure looked good, hope it was a smooth ride for you
both. Say hi to Steve. Dan and Char
Thanks. I am interested in how you are always ahead in knowing which routes United is going to fly to. Great information! The entree was "better" than usual. We recently had a really good entree (fish, would you believe) returning from Paris. Thought we'd try it since everything else is usually so-so. Regards to you both. Hope the summer is going good. Sheila
As in my comment above, it was "better" - northing wrong with appetizer, salad, or dessert, it's always the entree but at least the chicken wasn't dried out
Your videos from the Japan trip were all great! I want to fly United in
buisiness class just for the ice cream sunday but I just have enough miles
for a Lufthansa mileage bargains buisiness class ticket, so no ice cream
sunday :(
Where do you go next?
