Mira, great video! You just keep improving, way to go! I'm moving to
Kanazawa shi in february, but i'll def visit takaosan!!
Thank you so much for the upload!!
You're so lucky. I would do anything to try to get to Japan and do this.
Too bad that requires way more money than I can afford. Hotel prices are
crazy there :(
That's more than here, trust me. And things here are a lot more expensive then in America. If you want to go, then go for it. Don't spend your money on little unnecessary things. That's how I saved my money. And be ingenious while planning your trip.
+potatoO0o That's equivalent to over 4 thousand dollars in America. That's a life savings for me. Min. wage here is under 6 euros an hour. So yeah, it's not so great when a gallon of milk can cost you half that.
You probably earn 4 times as much as a minimum wage in my country. I earn nothing because I'm a student. I spent my life savings for my trip to Japan. I only spent 3000€ for 2 months! Including EVERYTHING. 1 week JRpass, 2 week JR pass, airplane ticket, admissions to museums, castles..., food, accommodation... You can get by very cheap if you want to. And we were not starving at all.
+Jennifer Who? 20$ a night is expensive! 600$ a month for that you can rent your own 1 bedroom appartment alone and have peace. If you are here temp, I suggest sleeping at a manga kissa, which is 10$ per night.
actually it's really affordable to stay in Tokyo. You can stay in a guest house for about $20 a night and have your own room with air con and all amenities. Food is pretty reasonable as well and the subway system is pretty cheap!

Tokyo's Amazing Mt. Takao - 高尾山
I recently visited Tokyo's amazing Mt. Takao (or "Takaosan" as everyone calls it) once again but this time with my friend Sharla and we went to see the kouyou ...
Oh my gosh, I LOVE Mt. Takao. I literally go there every month (since we
already live in West Tokyo).
Also, it was really cool chatting with you at the Youtube Bonnenkai!
+Lezley Davidson The first time I rode this thing, the seats were simply made of plastic and that's it. Now they have a foam cushion so it's much less scary. Still a little unnerving at times though. ;)
dude, i love your videos the more videos you show the more i feel the want
to experience japan first hand not just just through a laptop screen
and i will one day :)
Another great video! Made me feel gutted about not visiting Mt. Takao last
year in November. But oh well, I am planning on visiting it in March when
I'm over next.
Thank you so much for always sharing your places to visit thanks to you
last week I got to go to the Chichibu yomatsuri and it was amaze balls!!!
Will try to make koyo next year in Takao!
+NihonLala Akana This is one of my favorite comments ever! I'm so happy you got to see the Yomatsuri! That was my first experience after moving here in '12 and it blew my mind. Absolutely stoked you decided to check it out too!
