Sick and dying animals, overcrowding, mites and dirty water were some of the things found during an investigation into a free-range farm run by Noble Foods ...
This report is bullshit! If you actually do a bit of research about it
you'll find out that this piece of journalism is extremely biased.. anyone
who has kept chickens, even a few know that the molt and lose their
feathers in the autumn (when this was filmed) furthermore they eat
absolutely everything so no wonder there is little greenery, especially as
things die back naturally in the autumn..
I used to have 6 chickens on a quarter acre plot, and through the winter it
turned into a quagmire in places from the chickens like outside they
chicken house where they always walk.. Note how the journalists don't look
around the fields etc. only the mud just outside the doors.. and most farms
are muddy anyway, especially in Scotland where it rains all the time..
While disease is mentioned, it is worth noting that no expert opinion was
included from a poultry vet. In fact, it turns out the birds in question
were quarantined and under veterinary supervision for an outbreak of
erysipelas. This disease can unfortunately cause high levels of mortality
as well as feather loss.. Something that is not even mentioned in this
video..
anyway it's better people know the truth, these people paint just as big a
lie as the whole "sun shines every day picture" the Happy Egg Company
Paint.. of course the sun doesnt shine every day but that's no excuse to go
spread your vegan bullshit!
Actually metaanalysis of all the available studies on egg consumption shows
a correlation with decreased all cause mortality and longer life span where
more eggs are eaten. You can learn about this at the perfecthealthdiet.com
website run by Paul Jaminet an astrophysicist and his wife Shou ching
Jaminet a medical research molecular biologist at Harvard. Both of them
have extensive experience evaluating and interpreting studies, knowing if
they were properly conducted or flawed and useless. A meta analysis is a
compilation of the results of numerous valid studies and is far more useful
than any one study or a few studies. Paul Jaminet cured his illness which
was vAriously diagnosed as ms, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's depending on
what doctor. He cured his illness with a modified paleo diet as per
dictated by his research of the medical/scientific literature which he had
access to from the Harward and other university libraries because of his
wife's position and his own university contacts.
Oh my! You need to do a search on youtube or the web: Vegan Atletes - You
are totally misinformed if you think there's ill-health to be found in
fruits, vegetables, beans, nuts and seeds! While you're at it - Search
"eggs and cancer" Choline: Why Eggs May Worsen Prostate Cancer. Consumption
of eggs was also associated with an increased risk of ovarian cancer. Now -
Please address the ethical aspects that I brought to the discussion. Eating
eggs causes horrific misery for no benefit to health.
its disgusting how chickens are treated yes i do understand chickens are a
food industry but they should be treated proply and cared for they are
after all a living creature and how would the people that treat chickens
like this feel if they were put to live in conditions like this they
certainly wouldnt like it id be quite happy to never eat a chicken or an
egg for the rest of my life if the world continues this cruelty to these
lovely creatures have some dam respect for chickens please
My sister has *free range ex battery hens that live FREE in here
garden....,I buy *happy eggs* I bought happy eggs because i thought they
were free range because of the advert...now i know that people will lie to
make money. her chickens were kept, 6 to a wire cage, no natural light and
a squirt of dusty food every couple of hours. she got them in feb from
british hen welfare trust. otherwise they would have been sold at 17 months
old to a dog food company for about 30p each..
Best thing to do is to remove chicken's eggs from your diet. They aren't
necessary for health. There's absolutely NO WAY to use birds (pigs or cows)
without violating and exploiting them. All hens are killed after they no
longer lay eggs and all the males are killed shortly after hatching.
Totally wrong to call this an acceptable food choice. Please consider a
compassionate vegan option.
All RSPCA workers should be vegan. How can you work for the RSPCA and eat
chicken or any meat for that matter - but many RSPCA workers do. Disgrace!
No wonder people are reluctant to donate these days. They don't trust the
RSPCA and that is sad as they are the only animal welfare organisation with
any legal powers.
This is totally disgusting and unacceptable...For a few seconds I was in
hope the Happy Egg Co. Was doing the right thing for the poor hens that are
making them rich,,,but I see once again the poor animals are suffering to
give you eggs....UGHHHHHH
they are deemed not productive because they only lay about 5 eggs per week.
since she adopted them her 5 lay on avergae 4 per day.......stop this evil
trade now..... adopt some ex batts... they are amazing
Wrong, chicken eggs are the most nutritious food on the planet period. Best
thing to do is to not listen to a vegan, they are the most unhealthy people
I have ever seen.
THIS IS D
IRECTED @ 'TEHWENAMN'
.....
First of it was in SUMMER!
The birds were also NOT MOULTING, They were featherpicking as their are
thousands crammed in a barn
Thank you for your exposé. The fact is: there is no such thing as happy
meat or happy eggs. The concept of exploitation/killing and humane are
contradictory.
These chickens are much better kept then I thought. Thanks for the video!

Very interesting video, Stefan! Have you seen the documentary Cowspiracy by
chance? If so, I was wondering what your thoughts were on the film. I know
it has impacted many people, including myself!
+Leilani Rika Yes... I thought it was a very good documentary. I've mentioned it in a previous video, not too long ago.I still don't know how accurate it's figures are (about how much water is used to produce meat) but it certainly makes it clear than organisations are afraid to mess with the meat and dairy industries.I'm still on the fence about what my diet will look like long-term.
Define positive? Isn't that in terms of how you perceive a video too? I find the videos useful as they are relatable - if they were false and sugar coated they wouldn't be so, and they wouldn't be as helpful as they are! So I say continue doing the videos that feel right for you!! Thank you!!
So big business bullshits excessively to make more money, hardly surprising
really. I suspect similar stories could be told about other 'ethical'
products; free range, organic, etc..... all very much examples of marketing
spin vs harsh reality.
+Sarah Elizabeth May Indeed. It is sad that they can get away with false advertising. I want to throw this in people's faces when they argue the eggs they buy are free-range.
