Wow! Thank you for sharing this -- it isn't always possible for folks doing CI to explain what's happening in the dance and if you're 'outside' it can be frustrating trying to learn...particularly as people keep saying "just dance your dance." You do such a great job of explaining some of what is happening so that I really can dance my dance!

WOW!! so helpful to me. I'm so interested in this style of dance, but there are no resources here in my area. I am teaching a class at my studio based on what you are telling me here. Any more information would help me so much! I will subscribe. Thanks again for posting and sharing with the world!

Brilliant. Very much the same principle found in higher-level martial arts - Chi Sao ("Sticking Hands") in Wing Chun, and also the "blending" in Aikido.
